I tried a Blu disposable to see if this "weird electronic thing" could possibly work.
I knew it would when I found myself complaining bitterly about the burning electrical insulation flavor...but still hadn't had a cigarette in seven hours and didn't miss them.
Most of the basic
batteries, like the eGo, are pretty cost effective, feature very simple maintenance, and have decent lifespans. I use an alternate brand (the Volt X2, which is 808 thread only), and actually just retired one of my
batteries today--after a very impressive fourteen month lifespan. Since the cost of it was $30, that means the thing really only cost $2.14 a month and you can't beat that too easily.
I do have backups, and backups for my backups, so that I have no chance of ever being without a charged, functional battery. The initial outlay can be a little pricey, but compared to a carton of cigarettes these days, it's not really all that much.
