I didn't expect that many people actually quit smoking over this vapor thing.:)
I am skeptical since I've been smoking 20 years, and tried so many different things to quit. None worked, of course.

So, I am starting to believe that I might quit this nasty habit of mine.
I just want mine delievered.

Since you guys quit analog...do you feel any better?
I mean of course you feel better, but your body wise...
Can you really breath easily, sleep well, getting your appetite back, and so on...?
You feel healthier?

Give me some motivation!

P.S - How soon vapor4life reply e-mails? I sent one last night about my order, and have not heared yet.

Yep - put down a 25+ year, pack a day habit in 2 days flat!!

It's different than smoking but I found in a better way. Smoother and cooler 'smoke' with flavor and the same fix I got from my analogs.

My sinuses were 100% better within the first weekend, my morning coffee/cig stomach was gone and within a week I felt more energy (though that may have just been mental). And I have "breezed" thru 2 colds since vaping as opposed to full blow chest infection.

I'm convinced, sold and will never go back to analogs ever again!

Welcome to ECF, stick around, read, learn and try it out.

I was also a long time smoker of a pack a day! A lady never divulges her age, but let's just say I have been smoking more then half my life - or over 20+ years. That is all you get! :p

Nothing worked for me either, but this did. I genuinely do not have any desire to smoke, as long as I have my VK I am good. It is almost a miracle to me! I was lucky and never got the smokers cough or anything, but I do feel much more energetic! Also, I love not smelling like an ashtray! :)

I was a bit skeptical to, but im up o day 4 and so far so good. I think Ive only had 3 or 4 urges for an analog and they quickly subsided when I starting vaping away on my VK. Im still getting into a routine, so the hardest thing for me is making sure I have enough batt life to get threw the work day. A couple more batts will put my mind at ease. :D

I quit a 20+ year habit the first day I got my first e-cig. I relapsed once back in May, but it tasted soooooo awful, I threw the pack away and never looked back.

Same here. I got mine 4 days ago.

Last night, I worked very late. Therefore, I vaped through the cartridges I had. I stopped to buy a pack of cigarettes on the way home. (I never intended to quit smoking, so I ha no quams about it.) Half way through the first cigarette, I threw it out the window, along with the rest of the pack. (Yes, I littered, but I am not ashamed.) The thing tasted horrible.

I guess I'm a vaper4life.

Yes do feel better and accomplish more and more suprises concerning leaving analogs behind as I continue in this path..

I truly have to wonder, if all the patches and gums were created due to peer pressure on the analog companies to right the wrongs in witholding information and how they intentfully worked towards making the analogs addictive to the body..

then at the same time ran a smear campaign that the gum and the patches and quitting analogs was so near impossible and painful miserable.. that it was going to be agonizing and darn near was 99.9 chance in hell of quiting on the first time or never...

Thing about the e cig,, I truly belived I would never be able to let go of analogs,, all the information I had ever learned was I would be miserable for the rest of my life, lots of personal failures in the past to justify the information I had concerning quitting.. After playing around with the e cig,, it was the first time ever, that I thought to my self of ( maybe lol, maybe this ,, it just might work) :) that the myth of having to earn the right to quit analogs by being tortured didn't have to happen that way..

and the rest is history...... One day at a time,, and best wishes to you...

Yup, first day out (with an NPro) no more tobacco cigarettes, after 44 years. Was so easy was almost spooky! Vaping just plain smells a whole lot better. No more coughing, wheezing, bronchitis, sinus infections, sleep better, smell and taste everything now. Broken facial and neck capillaries almost entirely gone. I've since cut back on my original 24mg/ml juice down to 18mg, also with NO withdrawal at all! Will go another step, down to 12 mg one of these days, then I think I'll hold right there! Love this vaping thing!

Well, I agree with everyone here. Although I'm new to VK (can't wait to get it), I started my vaping experience almost one month ago with a 901.

I smoked 1.5-2 packs a day for over 38 years. The first day I didn't get started until around 8 p.m. so had already smoked almost 2 packs. The second day I vaped all day and had maybe 5 or 6 analogs. The 3rd day I had one analog -- if you can call lighting it up, taking one drag, and putting it out actually smoking. I've never felt a need for another cigarette since.

I had tried umpteen times over the course of the last 25 years or so to quit. Those NRT patches, gum, lozenges, etc., just do not work for the vast majority of smokers. Hypnosis did not work for me; neither did acupuncture. And neither did therapy. This was sooooooooooooo eassssssyyyyy I couldn't believe it!!

By my 3rd day of vaping I was breathing better. By the end of the first week my senses of smell and taste were returning -- so much that I had to cut way down on the sugar in my coffee which I found was now way too sweet. I'm sleeping better. I have more energy. I am no longer hacking and coughing every morning when I wake up. I don't smell like smoke anymore. My house smells cleaner. One of the best things -- my little dog isn't wheezing and congested any more either. Oh, one more thing, I am no longer contributing thousands of cigarette butts and pounds of ashes to the landfill. :D

I don't approach this as "quitting analogs" anymore. It's really a daunting task.

I still have analogs in the house, and if I choose to have one, I won't kick myself about it.

That said, I make it my duty to vape when I feel the need to smoke. Vaping with flavors is just so enjoyable, that my need to smoke regular cigarettes just goes away.

All I can say is try it. The VK is a godsend.
