Ah but Buzzz the Protank when it first came out, was RAVED about. Literally idolized. Until people started using it for more than a month. I remember thinking about trying it and decided to wait until it had been out and used regularly. I'm glad I did. Then the threads started popping up about how it fell apart, people just dropping it and the glass shattering.

Can't quite blame it on buying a cheap device and getting what you pay for. Hype alone got more people buying the product.

I use almost exclusively glass and was watching the development of the Protank before most people had heard of them. I got one of the first 400 in the US through a pre-order with Sun-Vapers (it even came with a thank you letter from Ed lol!). I really, really wanted to like it, which I did to a point, but it wasn't as amazing as I hoped it would be. By the time I posted the pros and cons of what I had exprienced other people were starting to get theirs - Oh my Lord! You would have thought I was strangling kittens. The bottom line seemed to be I was doing something wrong. Sorry, I refuse to praise a product I have to modify to make it perform the way it's supposed to out the box.

Seriously, throw that old mini away. It's takes too much time, mess and BS to re-glue it. Just get yourself a Protank 2 and use it until the Protank 2 mini comes out, (which should be very soon.)
