I bought my lavatube from Adam at canvape.com, they agreed to allow me to pick up my order locally. I met Adam in person, he was very nice, and I paid for my order in cash and I was very happy to have a hardware supplier so close to me so I can get what I need and save on shipping. Weeks later, I needed some cartos, so I placed my order through the website, and I had to deal with this extremely difficult person named Tom over email. he refused to let me pick up the order locally, and basically told me to go buy what i need somewhere else.

This tells me that these guys are nice, and will allow local pickup if you are buying something with a large profit margin, but are rude and will want you to pay their overpriced $15 shipping charge to ship a $5 item literally a few kilometers away from where they run their business. I've sent many friends to buy from their website, and I still have many more friends interested in e-cigs, and let's just say I will make sure no one I know ever buys anything from canvape again.

Finally, I want to say, thanks Tom, my friends and I will follow your advice, and buy our supplies from somewhere else.

Yikes Tom difficult, that was on my order. There was also a week in the time frame you are speaking of that we had rolling blackouts on the site and were 50 orders behind consistently for several days. We just simply did not have the manpower required.

We have added another employee since you e-mailed with him and can now do local pick-ups on Monday and Fridays. We are just too busy now to be able to meet up easily, we also have opened a booth at the 400 flea market to allow people to be able to pick up there orders on Saturday and Sunday also.

Please understand this is a very demanding business we are growing faster then we want to and once in a while like to have dinner with our families. A normal nights sleep, a shower etc literally my pubes are 4" long cause I haven't had time to manscape lately

You also could have PM'd me here and discussed this issue and or e-mailed me personally, I remember the time we met and I think I went WELL out of my way to be of service. Even giving you some of my own personal juice. It's unfortunate you forgot so soon and got so standoffish about it but that is why we aren't the only vendor in Canada.

We try hard to please 100% of the people 100% of the time and sorry about your experience.

I never complained about the time you met me and helped me out. That was awesome and I believe I raved about it on this forum. I did not forget that.

I told Tom that I didn't know where this 400 flea market was, and he didn't even offer to tell me where it was. He could've offered to meet me 6 weeks later at midnight under a bridge, and I would've been ok with that, but he got standoffish, and didn't care about my order or my business.

Perhaps Tom was too busy eating, sleeping, or manscaping to email me the address to this 400 flea market, or to give a crap about my order or to provide a half decent reply to my emails.

Although you can't please a 100% of people, you could at least try having a word with Tom, apologizing for the poor service, or even offering to fix the situation or fulfil the order. That's all I wanted to hear, but instead you chose to invest your time to come here, tell me about your pubes, and criticize me and show your future customers that you will blame them and continue the poor service if they ever experience a hiccup with canvape.com

Ok, sorry about that. Have a good one.

Tom

Hey *, we unfortunately don't have the time to do meet up's locally. We do have a booth at the 400 market where you could stop in and pick up your products there. Also we can bring your order to the vape meets at the honest lawyer if you ever attend them.

Thanks

Tom

Anyway no more time for this, guys just let it slide please and thank you. This was before we even added local pick up's on Friday and Monday. I can assure you that even a supporter in this thread that lives close was told no to a pick up and had his order deleted once or twice before coming to the market where we hung out we chatted and became friends. If anyone doesn't want to treat our transactions in good faith and as a friendship we don't want their business. Since our paypal account has been cancelled we even take cheques from our customers that we know well and have no EMT and they send them AFTER their goods are received. Taco bell isn't going to let you eat your taco then pay for it. We do so please don't compare us to some "big business" that just wants your money or we would have gotten our user base raised our prices and ignored what is the right thing to do.

As everyone knows if anyone has a problem with anything we will fix it. If anyone has a VALID complaint we will address it. As far as expecting a service that is not offered and done when we can, too bad. Don't care and won't ever. Our mission is to provided Canadian vapers with a steady supply of affordable vape goods. Not to drive around meeting with people that don't want to deal online with an online business. At the expense of not having the required time to ship goods around the country that people have already paid for and expect in a timely fashion.

So my complaint and my review isn't VALID because you said so ?

It is not clear whether you provide local pickups or not, sometimes you do, and other times you don't. For the $115 order you were happy to meet me, then for the $15 order you refused to.

You are not the only vendor I buy from. The other vendors I deal with have a clear pickup policy where I know exactly where to pickup my order from and when, and have always met me for every order, come rain or sunshine.

If I wanted to deal with shipping, I would order my stuff from the US where hardware and juice are a million times better and always in stock. I figured why not save money and support local business.

I apologize if I was expecting a service you do not offer, but I'm not sure you even know if you offer it, or when you are offering local pickups or not.

Your right it isn't valid because I said so, this is entirely my business and I will run it as I see fit(complying with ECF guidelines) and that always includes the masses opposed to 1 or 2 problematic customers that we just can't or don't want to make happy out of our 1200 or so customers we have encountered so far. There are 15-20 that we bend over frontwards, sideways and backwards for you just aren't going to be one of them.

Were not in the pizza delivery business so as long as you don't EXPECT us to hand deliver/meet up with you and understand that we do it when we can(outside of Friday's and Monday's now). You'll enjoy the speedy delivery, friendly service, support and non-transparency we provided our customers.

You ALWAYS can pick up your order(to save the shipping and ensure the exact goods you require are there) and or just show up and see what we brought that day(usually a few of everything) to our booth #2519 at the 400 market(google it) north outside wall every Saturday and Sunday. If you don't want to google it and ask us for directions we will be happy to provided them to you :)
