X cube 2 with tfv4 tank

So my question is how to get it working perfectly? I started it off with 3 coils, at 60 watts, with 0.20 ohms. My first problem was that the liquid was coming out of the air holes at the bottom and it just blasted the back of my throat. I've smoked my mates and it was fine so what am I doing different? I put the 4 coil in and tried that 70 watts and well not ready for that yet. Any suggestions?

Did you prime your coils?

Whenever you install new prebuilt coils you have to prime them, meaning you have to make sure the cotton material is fully saturated with the eliquid you're going to vape with.

Also even after saturating the coils they need a few prime puff at low power to be broken in. And after that about 1/4 to 1/3 of a tank to be fully broken in.

Ah ok I'll give it a go. Also I was making g bigger clouds with a 20 watt tank. How can you change the ohms as well?

I'm a little new to this so go easy.

Ohms, or your resistance depends on the coils you use. Either you buy the prebuilt and choose the ohms you want according to what your tank takes, OR you get a tank that has an RBA (rebuildable atomizer) and build your own coils.

As for clouds, i don't have the TFV4, but it could be that you haven't broken in your coils on your TFV4, but from what I've heard TFV4 produces dense vapor.

+1 I will guess a priming issue. The TFV is known to be cloudy, but you'll have to put some watts on it.

I've tried putting some watts on it but end up frying my throat. People keep saying put between 60-140 watts and I can't manage 60. Maybe it's the ohms. That's the only thing I can think of. I've primed it and the leaking has stopped but not the burning of my throat.

whats the nicotine lvl in your juice? 3mg? 6mg?

12 is a bit high for sub ohm vaping. switch to something lower see if that helps. I sub ohm at 6, alot of the forum members seem to favor 3.

Right I swapped it out so its on the 3 coil one with 70 watts with 6mg and it's working much better! Thanks guys!

Another thing I did not see mentioned what is your Vg/Pg ratio?

As far as I know it's 50/50

If you still have leaking issues Bump up the VG you should be running 70/30 or higher
I have run 50/50 through mine a few times but they are made for thicker juice
