X Cube Mini 75W Upgrade Warning

Just tried to upgrade my X Cube Mini 75W and stupidly didn't remove the battery prior to plugging in the USB cable. After a few seconds there was wisps of smoke and an awful smell of electrical burning. I now have an expensive doorstop!

Not sure about the Quality of your USB or even what version since you didn't post it, however you should NOT have needed to remove the Battery.

I'd suggest you Not Freak, Contact you Vendor and tell them the Unit has failed. They do come with a Warranty.

*Don't mention Upgrading
