Hi there,
I've had a look through a lot of pages and found little snippets about this model so i thought i'd start a thread on it. So the info may be all in one place.

Ok - i have an Xpower 900. It has worked without fault for the whole 8 weeks i've been using it. My wife has one too and hers has worked without fault also.

I find the batteries last me over 24 hours. Sometimes 48 hours (not sure why that happens occasionally). I have been using the original atty that came with it and filling my carts, which are a good size, that take about 12 drops of liquid. I have also bought a 301 to 510 adapter and bought some Joye 510 attys and flat tip carts too. The Joye attys are excellent, i mean very very good, although the flat tip carts are fairly small and need topping up much more than my 301 carts.
I have also, recently, bought some 301 cartomisers and have enjoyed the vape they give.

I really like the flat tips. They don't seem to give me as much wind as the round ones (pardon my bluntness). Trouble is i can't find anyone that makes 301 carts with flat tips. I can't seem to find drip tips for the 301 either. Now either they don't exist or i just haven't found them as yet. Soon as i do, if i do, i will post here.

I really rate this xp 900 but for the extra parts it seems a bit of a challenge. I don't think enough is being made for them. I know they are made by Smoores. But extras like flat tip carts, flat tip cortomisers, clearomisers etc. Just don't seem to exist in the 301 thread. I'm told that the 601 thread will fit these as well but as yet haven't found the carts and cartomisers that i want without having to revert to my 301/510 adapter.

Anyone with any help or knowledge of the X Power 900/900c or the 650 please feel free to pass on any useful info in this thread. As i will as i find out more.

Thanks....Del

Thanks for the info , Del boy. I had pretty much had the same questions and your post mostly answered all of my questions....I have been looking at these and have been wanting to try them.... Are the adapters an eyesore? Or do they blend in with the piece? And the hit. Is it powerful or does it depend on the strength of the battery?
thank in advance(tia)
:)

Sugar - The hit and the vapor you get with these really is good. I would think even an experienced vapor would be pleased with it. The attys are good. The carts hold a fair amount of liquid (15 drops) though i try and limit myself to 12 drops so as not to flood the atty. I have just started using the cartomisers for these in the last week and again they perform very well.

On the down side is the fact that i haven't been able to source flat tip cartridges nor flat tip cartomisers. I prefer them to the round tips. I have e mailed 'smoores' (who make these) to implore them to make some flat tipped. And some drip tips. And some clearomisers. As yet i haven't heard from them.

The adapters look quite alright and fit well under the cone. With the adapter and a joye atty and cart on it comes to the same length as the xpower cart and atty.

Really my only gripe is the lack of flat tips. I know some enterprising people are out there that have probably made something to fit on the end. Thats why i posted up this thread in the hope that they would share their secrets/info.....lol.

Batteries hold their power really well. I'm a bit blown away by it really cos it didn't cost that much. Yet it is good quality.

A bit of an update here.

I e-mailed ............. to say that i was disappointed to not be able to use flat-tip cartridges on my xp 900 and they e mailed me back with a couple of photographs of flat-tipped cartridges saying 'do you mean these ? If yes how many do you want ?'
Soooo it looks like they're either going to make me some or they have some that will fit.
What a response. What a serivice. I'll update when they contact me again.

Thanks Del and sorry for the late reply. Just got my x power today and find it to be satisfactory.. It is a bit larger and heavier then the eGo's and even fatter than my infinity.....but I like it.....I got an adapter for it but it was not needed as a 510 atty fits right on and the adapter didn't fit at all.....wonder if it is an american thing? The tanks I use are the 510-t and they are round tips, but I also use the eGo -t attys and their tanks are flat tipped. Have you tried the tank system yet? Closest thing to dripping I have found but less messy.....I never could get the hang of dripping and really never had the time for it.....the taste and vapor with both of these are great......
good luck on finding the items you seek, sounds like the company you mentioned is willing to work with you...that is great.....
:)

This is my first e-cig and I have only been using it for a week now. I love it. I'm worried because my ego-t is in the mail and I probably won't wanna try that one out, lol.

I got the black one and I've noticed that only after a week the paint is scraping off of both the battery and the cone. Is that normal for an e-cig? Maybe next time I should order a plain metallic e-cig.
