First off I have the KR 808D-1 and the Riva.

The X-power is KILLER!! These cartomizers M-301,orM-601 Hit great with tons of vapor and great air flow even with the cone attached somethiing the Riva has a hard time with. These carts will hold about 1.1 ml of liquid and air flow is perfect. I got a box of prefilled Mboro, which is one of the best tobaccos I've had. I got some blank cartomizers that have the removable hard cap, but it states on litecigusa website that these caps are still easy to take off. Well I don't know what tool they are using, but lets say you won't be taking them off with a paper clip. I used a strait tip type screwdriver device and just about destroyed the caps taking them off, but no problem as I could fill them just as easy with a syringe and needle using a little of 1ml of liquid and puting the needle down into the filler squirt a little a keep moving around until syringe is empty and no leakage out the bottom. Much better than the 501 cartomizer in every way. The only problem with the M-301,601 carts is I don't see that many on the internet, but there should be these things are great. Much better than the kr808 and 501 put together.
I didn't buy an atomizer, but I'm going to order some Monday with blank cartridges.
Now on to the Ecig itself. Its beautiful and feels great. Black Matte finish with chrome bottom and chrome button, but, which this is cool even though the button and bottom look like solid chrome they are transparent. The button glows blue like the Riva and the bottom lights of orange, which the Riva doesn't. I really like the feel of the button and the curvature of the neck around the button its perfect. The battery life is tremendous. I've been vaping all day like 8hrs and still going strong and I'm I heavy vaper. Like I said earlier the finish is a matte black with a very smooth finish not slippery just smooth. The only thing I could want is a huge variety of prefilled Cartomizers out there because I just like them better. Well thats not exactly true. Blank cartomizers that I can fill would be more like it. I hate the attys and cartridge. Get yours at Litecigusa.com

Hope this helps

Thanks for your update, may have to look into one of those.

Back before I stumbled onto the carto condom refill method, and had to deal with hard-capped KR8 cartos, I bought a rug hook something like this at a craft store and ground the hook down to about 90 degrees - made it easy to pop the caps off without damage. Wish I could take credit for the idea, but I just followed someone else's lead:

Hey Paul - glad to hear that you're liking it. For folks that are looking to buy an ego - either the 650 or 900 - trying to suggest the XPower too often falls on deaf ears because there are so many satisfied ego users it's hard to get the message out that there is a similar but MUCH better e-cig they could buy.

Don't know why you had problems with the cap on your carto - using my tweezers, they pop right off. And there is just the top cap and not the second cap like most others have to get out and replace.

Hope you get and try the atomizer plus carts as I love them because they hold 22 - 24 drops making them more like a carto volume wise without the hassle.

Enjoy.

Agreed. I just won an Xpower 900c set from Litecigusa in his contest to come up with contests.

I Love this thing. Vaped on it over 15 hours continuous. I got the atomizer and cartridges in the mail and hooked those up to it. WOW. I can't believe how well it hits and how much the cartridges hold. (I filled it until it was squishy). I also love the look and feel of it. The cartomizers are huge!

Only one con: The button spring seems inconsistent. With the two batts I got in the set one is loose but fires great every time. One is too tight and sticks. Now I may have received the one bad button in an entire shipment, who knows. I tried using it for 2 days hoping to work it in but to no avail. I'm getting with Shawn to have it replaced. I don't want to fry my 1 atty I bought. Otherwise, this is one awesome PV.

Frankly, that's enough to keep me from wanting one. I don't remember even seeing adapters that run from a 510 to this, either; not to say they aren't, I just don't remember them. When you have a product that has only limited availability, the price is going to be higher than other styles because of the lack of competition, and then, alas, it is likely to go the way of Betamax.

Cartridges and atomizers. Man maybe its me, but I have the worst luck with them everytime I fill them and I fill them correctly it seems they start off vaping fine, but after a few puffs I'm burning dry floss as the fluid doesn't flow down the floss to the atomizer. I don't know if its just a thing wear I need to go much slower because I do puff quiet frequently especially when starting off. This is why I always go back to cartomizers. No matter If its my Rivas, or Xpower I get a few puffs then I have to take the Cart. off and move the floss around to get some more liquid down. I used thin and (VG) thicker liquids doesn't matter. made sure there wher good wholes by inserting needle through floss a few times and no luck

I took out the original polyfill and put a piece of blue foam in the cartridge. Works like a champ. I used the type U foam. Comes in a sleeve shape. I cut one end slightly wider than the cart and tapered the other end. Stuck the tapered end in first. Holds about 25 or more drops and lasts quite a while.

you can get plenty of the cartomizers and cartridges and atty combos from litecigusa, or china. I'm just saying there aren't many selling the Xpower in the USA right now, but that will change, or it definitley should.
I have the Riva, which I was so excited to get like the very popular EGO. I am telling you the Xpower puts the RIVA,EGO to shame. The draw on the xpowers cartomizers is simply perfect. The Carts are modified M301 they hold more. The cone does not restrict air flow like the Riva's cone does. I see why the 510 was so popular its better than the 808, but every dealer that can pick up xpowers should get them. They are significantly bigger than a Riva. The expense of $64 for the kit is worth it for anyone to try that has a Riva or Ego. The attomizers work better if you like the cartridge, atty combo and like I said they hold more juice. There is the MEGA carts for the Ego, which I guess would be the best comparison, but the X900 got that perfect size. I am saying all this positive stuff and If anyone should gripe its me. I replaced one battery that wouldn't charge only to find out its not the battery, but the charger is bad. I think I'm only the second person with a defective one. My original Rivas were defective , but Travis at Vapor junction replaced the whole kit instead of just guessing. The Rivas are great. I wish Travis would carry more variety. Ok I have rambled enough. Have fun...

I enjoyed smoking and I enjoy vaping, I have no intention of quitting, I'm just glad I found a cheaper healthier alternative to cigs :)

Amen....Its much cheaper for me even though I'm a heavy vapor. I enjoy the fun and misery of finding and buying new products to try...*L*
I think I'm going to get a Mod next. Provape, or something....

I haven't really been looking into anything vaping for a while, but I just had a look to see if there was any news on the new Precious, I'm using the 900mah batteries and the usb charger however would like to use something that only takes 1-2 hours tops.

You can get the Xpower 900 or 600 right hear in the states instead of China from. Litecigusa.com

Hey, could you elaborate on how you did that? Got any pics? What exactly is 'blue foam'? I have a riva and am thinking about getting an xpower or ego.. I absolutely hate the way my riva vapes on a cart. It only draws liquid from the top and I need to top up/fiddle every few puffs. Does the same thing happen on an ego?

Look up Blue Foam mods for cartridges on ECF. There are quite a few variations. I just bought the blue marine foam for an aquarium filter at a pet store. The "U" type sleeve foam. I cut it just barely larger than the cartridge and replace the white poly fill with the blue foam. It takes a couple tries to get a perfect fit but works well.
