I currently have 6 clearomizers in rotation: 2 filled (2 different flavors) that I'm vaping, 2 soaking, and 2 ready to use. One is still unopened in its wrapper. I only fill them 3 or 4 times before cleaning. That works better for me -- I don't really like doing the "dry burn" thing; I'm always afraid I'm going to burn the wick. I've found with more frequent cleaning, the dry burn really isn't necessary.
I like CE-3s, but they are just too airy for me. I heard that the new design has only 2 airholes as opposed to 4, so I may try them again. But I like the X2 clearos a lot, and you don't need a syringe to fill them.
BTW, I fill mine all the way to the top line, and I've never had a problem with leakage or gurgling. I have had the O-rings come out of 2 of them, but they still work okay, so I'm still using them.
Sadly, my blue one went in the trash. It never worked right -- wouldn't connect to the battery properly. I pushed the airtube down slightly, and it worked for awhile, but I was constantly having to push it down. My last push wasn't exactly straight, and I bent the airtube. Oh well ... overall, I am very, very pleased with these. So easy, no fiddling around with them. I like that a lot.
