Thank you for the reply. I tried it again last night and just can't get over the nasty taste. It has to be the material used to wick. Ill throw that one away as I only bought it for the X6 1300 mah battery anyway. I do love that battery. It nice to hold and 3 different voltages. Last me all day.
Again, thanks for the reply.

Am I missing something with this? Do other people like these?
The battery by the way is called an X6 not v6, sorry.

You can put a smaller diameter tank on there, IF the base is tall enough to stick up beyond the lip of the mod. The threading is there. I could put a Kanger mini Protank 2 on there, but had to use small needlenose pliers to get it back off, so I just used the full sized Protanks on it from there on out. Much easier! :)

One HUGE warning on that mod! Every time you screw a tank on or off, or put it on the charger, be VERRRRRY careful of the threads. They strip if you look at them cross-eyed. Treat them as if they were made of soft tinfoil, and you'll be OK. My first X-6 I stripped within just a couple of weeks, and I'm not rough on equipment. I liked the looks of it, though, so I got another one, and treated it with kid gloves, and so far, it's still hanging in there.

I don't think my x6 has ego threading for the t3s. Wait let me check it's right here....
Nope. You'll probably need a 510 to ego adapter to use a t3s on the x6.
I have an X7 battery (advertised as 1600mAh, might be 1300 though). It has a mini-mag light body style that I think is cool. One button for Power on/off, voltage select (probably the same 3 as the X6), and 'fire/pulse/flick the bic' is more a blessing than a curse. That means I prefer it a lot more than it inconveniences me. The battery has a well, but there are eGo and 510 threads. So to use a tank/clearo that is eGo threaded, it will work if it fits inside the well (like a CE4 sized clearo for example). The eGo threaded clearo that I use has a well also, and has too wide of a diameter anyway, so I do have to use a 510 to eGo thread adapter. The other clearo I use is 510 threaded, so I can use that without the adapter/extension.

I use a wide based air flow adjuster onmy x6 that threads to the smaller inside female threads. Works perfectly! I just ordered a ileaf 30....hopefully it will be my last purchase before I go broke looking for the perfect VAPE setup...

PERFECT solution to both problems - the tank AND the threads! I think you'll like the iStick 30. You can use it on low wattage, like you get from the X-6, and you can use higher wattage with lower resistance coils. Although I love my X-6, I don't use it much now because I like the vape better on my sub-ohm tanks at 30 watts. I still take the X-6 with me when I go out somewhere, though. :) The iStick will grow with you, and it's a good, sturdy mod.

Fantastic! It should show up in the mail early in the week. I'm very anxious to try it. Now I will have to get educated on my new possibilities with different styles of coils and such. I'll be back with more questions for sure. Does this ever end? The new adventure is fun not to mention healthy but I have to say cigs were easier...

Yes, the cigs WERE easier. I was telling my husband the other day that our vaping journey (which he thinks takes up WAY too much time) is similar to if a person was going to start smoking, but had to learn how to grow the tobacco, harvest it and dry it and shred it and cure it, then make the paper from wood pulp and cut it to size, then blend the tobaccos (oh, yeah, you'd have to grow more than one TYPE of tobacco, to suit your individual taste) and finally, wrap it all up in your homemade paper and smoke it. It could get pretty time consuming, right?

The "easy" equivalent in vaping would be buying cigalikes in quantity. That would be easy. One dies, you toss it and grab the next one. But verrrry expensive, and not very fulfilling. There's a short way and a long way with both smoking and vaping, but I'm finding most of the FUN of vaping is finding all the neat alternatives, or new flavors, or different types of coils... there are a million different ways to do it.

If you're like me (and most people, I think), you'll be happy with the iStick for a good long time as far as serviceability goes. Of course, the part that never ends is wanting the newest "shiny" that comes out. ;) You might not NEED it, but you'll WANT it.
