xbox 360 mod

I have a bunch laying around ,wondering if its worth trying . I was wondering if i should try making a mod with two xbox battery packs in series . They are 2.4v 3600mah nimh battery packs . Do you guys think its a good idea ? Seems like they should last a long time plus deliver 4.8v . I can also pop them off and throw them right on the dock for charging .

Yeah that's the tricky part- unles you cannibalized some controllers?
