I have several mods that I have been using rechargeable AAA nimh's with over the last two months. I have used 4 AAA nimh's in series and 3 AAA nimh's in series. My favorite mod is using 3 AAA's in series for quality of taste and atomizer life.
I also use a high quality peak detection charger to charge my 3AAA nimh's. What I have found is that over the past few weeks the nimh's performance drop-off is becoming noticeable. I'm a heavy vapor, and the 3 AAA nimh's when new were worth 6 to 7 hours of heavy vaping. Over the course of 6 weeks, that performance has now dropped to 3 to 4 hours. It seems the internal resistance of hard current demands is increasing the internal resisatance of the batts. Changing to new batteries the performance is back to 6 to 7 hours!
I'm curious to other people's experience with nimh's and also how they have been charging them?
My best batteries have been the Sanyo Rechargeable AAA's with 1000mah capacity. These batteries just rock in delivering the goods.
