XCUBE help needed

Hey guys, Greaseball here.

I just ordered an XCUBE by Oakley earlier and was curious if there were "skirts" for the threads for any 510 carto/tank combo I slap onto it. I want the unit as a whole to look as flush as possible and I'm kinda worried that there might not be a remedy for this.

Any helpful input is appreciated! I'm not sure what kind of tank or setup to get for this mod :/

I've never seen a cube in person, but since it has 510/eGo threading it looks like the regular thread cover/skirts might work. You need to post pictures when you get the set-up worked out. I'm curious to see how it will look with a tank.

Oh my. This shows it with a regular eGo threaded clearo, so the cone covers would fit. You would only need the covers if you were using a 510 device instead of eGo threading. Looking at the design of the cube, have you thought of a mini Protank?

Oh sweet! There's a vape shop nearby that sells those(I remember getting one for my Twist). I'm gonna scoop one up and since the tank I used to have was 510, I might as well try to get the same tank back onto the mod. Btw, I'm curious as to what kind of carto or atty this is. I don't recognize it but it looks good on that mod. Do you know what it is?

I could be wrong, and I'm sure someone will chime in if I am, but it looks like a ss atty, drip shield and drip tip combo. This is a shield.

Nice, nice. Yeah I'll look into getting something like that. I had seen somewhere that they called the mod "Thor's Hammer" when they put that atty on there. Thanks for your help sir or ma'am! Btw, what is your setup? Do you have a pic of your mod?

They sell those spacer rings at most stores. If not then order one online. If you look around you can find some really fancy looking ones with a design on it

Right now I'm vaping a sparkly red Reo mini with a 1.5Ω 306 atty and a gray Cannon drip tip. Super simple.

I ran into the REO mod site a few weeks ago and am really intrigued by their products. Is the voltage on yours putting out like 3.7 ~ 4.2? I like VV mods but I'm willing to get a non-VV mod

I got the mini which is 3.7v. It works fine for me. I use 1.5Ω and 2.2Ω attys on it and a 1.7Ω "shorty" Smoktech carto. I have tube mods for tanks and such, since the bottom-feeders don't really seem designed for switching flavors often.
