Actually, if you go to that media link, then on the left, click My Albums, it takes you to your albums page. Create an Album, then you can mark it so only you see it, followers see it, everyone sees it, or only specific members see it. :)

It shows on your Profile Page as well as your Member Card (when you or someone clicks on your username or avi on the left of your post. :)

Thanks. In my sidebar it's labelled "Your Albums". Think that's we're both on the same page, lol. Hitting the submenu bar "Your Content" takes you there too.

I noted the comment earlier about some work to still be done re redirects. But my media files were not ported over to the new media home apparently, the above path to content does not get you there.

Still lamenting and hope the mods answer…where is access to the previous media partition?

Good luck all.

:)

That's not it. AND they wont tell us! With respect to this MIA #2 Easter Egg, it's for Supporting Members only and seems just a tad silly not to tell us. PLEASE :)

Well, I'm game for the challenge :matrix:

The problem with finding the additional easter egg/perk (which I think I know what it is), is that I don't know what non-supporting members have access to. So, while I see things that might not be available to non-supporters, I don't know for sure if they are or not.

I personally think that the good new things out weigh the few missing old things

:2c:
totally agree. I've been tryin to improve the disposition of some grumpy gusses about it, but not having a lot of luck! lol I dunno, maybe I'm just a Pollyanna, or perhaps I have enough things in my life that really DO suck, that some of the things here that are not quite to my liking just aren't a big deal, and many things are greatly improved to my way of thinking!

What she said!

Yes, yes, yes. Please, dear Admin, if at all possible. Pretty please. And we do need more info about the posters--join date, number of posts, etc. Very helpful to be able to tell at a glance who we're talking to.

Those avatars are upside down and totally confusing...

I know this is not critical and I'm sure you have more important things to do right now, but in the future, it would be nice to have a format similar to what we used to have.

Other than that--great job! Thanks! :thumb:

I totally agree with Katya, except I believe it is critical -and besides, its so impersonal now ...............

I wanna go back to Fido/UseNet! No clicky mouse, Split/Join, UUdecode/UUencode, FAQ police, etc. The UseNet that was before AOL and the Eternal September.

Or not :)

I can understand why members would like that info, but it's not a big deal to me. I've never like post counts being displayed because it's useless information (and person that posts 10,000 jokes in a contest thread doesn't necessarily know any more than someone with 100 helpful posts). Same for the join date. It's just not information I need with every post. Location would be the most important one needed, but with so many people putting down non-locations in that spot, it really loses it's usefulness a lot of the time.

Knowing I can see that info if I need it for some reason with just one click and the benefit of it not taking up real estate with every post seems to be a plus to me.

To me.

A Member's Start Date gives me a Clue as to what Level of Experience the member has. This can be Very Useful when the Member is asking a Question.

It isn't Fool Proof of course. But as a General Rule, when I see someone who has a Join Date of say March 2015 and they are Asking a Question, I know that Most Times they have probably not been Vaping that long.

Also, a person's Location can be Helpful.

I couldn't figure out Yesterday why this Member was having so much Trouble understanding answers to His/Her Question. But when I clicked on their Avatar I say that they were from Malta. And they had been a Member of the ECF for about a Month.

The Post Count to me isn't all that Meaningful. But I think Join Date and Location are when Trying to Answer Questions and or give Advise.

It is NOT critical. It does not matter. In less than a week your brain will point your eyes below the avatar to see the username first. You won't remember what the old forum looked like. Get over it.

Sorry to jump on your post, JA. It is just one of a couple of posts harping on a most insignificant issue.

Agree on post counts. The only thing I would find helpful (not critical) would be some sort of notation that says "I'm a noob". Don't necessarily need their join date, but I tend to be a little more detailed/verbose in answers to folks that just got here. Just a thought. Maybe wrap their avatar in neon for the first 60 days....:D

BTW - Here is a Good Example of what I was saying about Post Count and Join Date.

Right now I have an aspire Atlantis and istick 50. I want to try a rebuildable is there one that is inexpensive and easier for a noob?

Is this person a Seasoned ECF Vet moving up to RBA's and will understand a bunch of e-Cigarette Lingo ? Or maybe someone who has not been Vaping very Long and is Very New to the ECF?
