Well, with all due respect, the huge ECF supporting member badge and the mood indicator take up more real estate than a few small lines indicating post count, location and/or ECF Veteran status.
I agree, if it were up to me those wouldn't be there either.
The way I reply to a post will be very different when I know, right away, that a person asking a question is a new member from Singapore, my neighbor from California who's been a member for years, or the ECF founder.![]()
What do you do if their location just says BFE, or In my moms basement, or if it's blank?
And as I'm sure you've noticed, most new members (and their title designates them as such) haven't gotten around to putting anything in the location field yet.
I certainly understand the convenience factor, but I just don't think it's a big deal to have to click on the avatar once and awhile to get additional information. I think you'll find that the majority of your posts are directed at folks that you are already familiar with and don't need it anyway.
