Sorry this has to be my first post. I should have posted after my first or second order. Shame on me!

I've been extremely happy with my first 2 orders and thanks much for the freebie items you guys have included. Most appreciated. Well, let me get to my first disappointment, or at least my first "head scratcher". I've always been a fan of the auto batteries as it's always felt more natural to me. And I have loved the standard auto's. Sooooo, I figured the XL must be that much better, right? Longer lasting, 13 sec cutoff, WOOT!!

Maybe I got a bad one, not sure. But, I charged it for 8 hours, popped on a cart, took a drag, and dang, hardly no air. Then I noticed there is no slot cut into the battery post like the regular auto bats have. That must be why the draw is SO hard, no air. Results in a headache from drawing so hard and the worst part is, after 3 or 4 drags it really heats up the cart, almost too hot to put it between my lips. Is this normal??

I cleaned the holes with a straight pin hoping that would help, but it has to be because there is no slot cut into the post because cleaning the holes didn't help. Again, I been loving everything about this e-cig (3 orders in like 8 days), but this battery is almost useless to me. So is this normal? Care to trade me for a regular auto?

Just saw how LONG this post is (so sorry about that).

I just got it today. Steve, should the battery post (or head as I call it) have the slot cut into (across) it?

Our newest batteries do not have a slot as we have found this to be the best configuration for maximum vapor and throat hit. Your battery may be a dud. PM me and we'll get you straightened out.

If you change the orientation of the cartomizer, you'll notice little airholes. For lighter draw, orient the cartridge to block fewer of them. That should help too.

I'll give that a shot, thanks! Provided my eyeballs can see those little holes LOL. When I clean them I just sorta feel around with the pin till I find em. hehe

Are you by any chance using carts that DO NOT have the slot through the middle? I have a few of those that I got from another vendor. They simply don't work with the unslotted batteries. Try using one of your other carts and see if it gets better.

No, using V4L carts. Actually, I was using a brand new cart that came in the same order as the battery LOL
