XL Battery Trouble

We have had too many defectives lately, so we are having to collect some to return to our supplier so they can diagnose and correct the manufacturing errors. Sorry about that. We are also looking at other suppliers, and should have some news about that after CNY. ANd in the meantime, as Steve said, we will replace any defectives, whether you are placing an order or not.

The thing that makes me little frustrated-you have to keep making purchases to obtain the Battery's/Or problems that you origianally paid for that don't work/not included. Then make more purchase(s) to correct the prob.So i made 4 orders in about 3 weeks-But not once did they OFFER to mail it to me as the INCONVIENCE. Thats why i say all of this!! Now since i said i won't make a purchase for a few weeeks - now they want me to mail it to them(the XL Manual battery-not working(again)?.. And pay for more shipping ? They Know its a PROBLEM with them!! So it will be in the mail tomorrow V4L btw! I have never said that my packages was short/missing of items-I Just want what i paid for without having to spend 4x more in shipping costs then the item does!


I just received my order and it was missing a box of carts. Now I find that one of the XL batteries in my kit is not working properly:( It shuts off after a few seconds and then will not work again for another 20 - 30 seconds or so.

Of course Val did not offer to just send them off to me but wanted me to place another order and then I would get what I have already paid for:nah: I do not know about everyone else but I am on a very tight budget. Having to order more just to get what I already paid for as well as warranty replacements is just wrong. I am definately not smilin:cry:

Whenever I have an auto battery go on me, I always try a capful of rubbing alcohol and a toothbrush. Hold the battery LCD side up and scrub the heck out of the bottom part for a few minutes. Sometimes things get really dirty.

Leaford, would it be kosher to mail defectives back to Steve and the folks? It's no hassle, and if it helps, glad to do it.

Just reply to Val's email and tell her the same thing you told us. Ask her to have them shipped and she will.

With the great prices we get from V4L, plus the discount codes & sales, not to mention the bonus gifts, you can't blame them for trying to save a little on shipping.

Besides, I'm thinking most of the customers are (like most of us) repeated and frequent customers. If the "next order" thing doesn't work, tell them.

I hope this helps and I'm sorry if it sounded snarky. I don't mean it that way.

If you're trying to get it in an order you placed last night, email is too slow.

I know I tried; the order I placed last night was no longer editable, and I didn't think about it until I read this thread today (I had kind of set that batt aside and was using others).

BTW keyzygirl, I ordered some manual batts based on advice you gave me on an earlier thread; I will let you know how they workout! Thanks for your continued advice and interest. :)

Sad to say the XL I received yesterday stopped working properly today. Blow in it and it will work for a few seconds then stops again. LED is not working. Put in charger and charger light is green....sigh....

Good news is that I just ordered a standard purple and a standard chrome, I'm hopeful these will work very well for us.

Thanks Pawpaw, I really don't want to bother them with an issue this minor, I just thought if they could get it into a shipment on my last order it would be nice. No worries, I will not be upset at all if they don't catch my email in time. Love the product and the company, vape on!

I responded that it was no problem and will add the request in a future order. For anyone who questions their customer service, this is proof of how great this company is on two levels: 1. I just ordered late last night and it is already shipping, and 2. They responded immediately to my concern and were / are more than willing to resolve. I for one, have never worked with a company like this. Bad news is, now I have one more reason for placing another order!

V4L rocks!!!!:)

I emailed V4L with a Few Items that i was gonna add to my order before it was Shipped! And .......I bought few things-put in my CC# - 4 hours later decided to email them to add a few things that i forgot i needed - And Valerie said sorry your order was shipped out already !! Talk about fast !!!!!! I never been so mad that my order shipped sooo fast !!! HAHAHAHA Too funny!
