XL PCC vs slider PCC and a question for Leaford

Having watched this excellent review by SteelJan (I wish everyone doing e-cig hardware reviews was this thorough) I have a question for Leaford about the upcoming new Bloog PCC:

Is it based on the XL PCC shown in the review with maybe a slightly altered form-factor? Were these issues looked into?
