Hey, I was hoping someone who regularly uses the Volt could answer a question on the Slider PCC (specifically the one that ships as of right now in 2013). So a couple videos on YouTube show that you have to screw the battery into the PCC to charge it, while other videos show that you DON'T have to screw the battery in... it's just metal that makes contact with the battery, kind of like the Joye eRoll PCC. But the weird thing is it is the older videos that show no threads (2011), while the newer videos (2012) show the battery screwing in. Which one is the current way that the PCC ships? Thanks!

Bonus round: the video reviews I've seen also kind of jump around on how long it takes the PCC to charge a battery (let's say the short one). I like and trust all of the reviewers, but one will say 1 hour and the next will say 2-and-a-half hours. Weird. What do you guys experience?

My PCC from this year requires you to screw in the batteries. I've tried the contact version, and it always seemed to slide out of contact if tipped the wrong way.

Ok, so it sounds like the old PCC was without the threads, and the screw-in type was released more recently as an improvement. Got it. Thanks Nukified!
