how it's done

The SC2 is a new, very compact and essential automatic charger, instead of the monitor there are 8 blue 4 LEDs for each channel.

Built with fire-......ant plastic material, it is equipped with a quick charge 3.0 with high recharging speed, up to 3A per single channel.

The sleds run well and do not jam. Their maximum extension reaches 7.5cm while their extension at rest is 5.4cm, so we can recharge all the li-ons over this measurement, remembering this seems trivial but has been deliberately designed in this way to avoid everyone insert batteries that are too small and cannot withstand the high speeds that this charger can reach.

The SC2 can be powered by any power supply and the charger will work the same but the maximum speed will be lower, so charging times will increase.
In order to take advantage of its maximum speed (2A for the 2 channels, 3A on the single channel) it is necessary to use a power supply with fast charge compatible with QC 3.0.

The new XTAR SC2 is perhaps the smallest and fastest dual-slot charger for existing Li-Ion on the market. It is completely automatic and therefore there is no need to have specific skills to use it (it is not possible to make mistakes).
The only care you need is to use a fast power supply with QC 3.0 in order to take advantage of the maximum achievable performance.

There is an important point to make: although it is possible to recharge 18650 and other large and / or capacity batteries, remember that only high-performance cells are able to withstand these powers so always see the battery datasheet to get the certainty that they can be recharged at 2A or +. Alternatively, we can power the charger with a power supply that is less than performing so as to reduce the currents involved.

On the whole it turned out to be a very handsome product aimed at that user segment that goes straight to the point and does not want to waste time with any advanced settings and which does not affect the presence of a monitor through which to control the various parameters and various information of the charging.
