So I first ordered from a company and then they were backordered, excuses, no real answers...I cancelled my order of course.
Now I started reading through this forum and decided to check out V4L. I may have went overboard on my first order, but wanted to know if this should cover it?...

Ultimate auto kit
1 Diamond Series( I could not resist:blush:)
1 Lanyard
45 prefilled carto of assorted flavors and strengths

I do want to try refilling the cartos if possible? However should I wait until I taste some flavors before ordering?

I am truly excited for this big change in my life. I do plan on replacing my analogs completely ASAP. I loathe the smell, feeling in my chest, and the coughing. I would like to smell pretty while still enjoying
something I really like.
Thank you to everyone on this forum for being so thorough in their posts! Thank you to V4L for such fast processing time..cannot wait to get started!!!!!:)

As far as going overboard... I wouldn't say you did. I made the mistake when first starting of believing the old "equal to a pack of cigarettes" line and found myself with only a few used up cartomizers quite quickly. Ended up going back to analogs and kicking myself for not getting more cartomisers.

Of course you will want to try different flavors we all do. Welcome to the forum and best of luck in your endeavor to quit the analogs. Also keep reading there is almost infinite wisdom here and lots of people who are willing to help you just like they did for me.

Welcome and congrats for your first order. Yes most if not all vendors from this forum ship pretty fast.

I would definitely wait on ordering juice until you try your carto assortment. While every vendor tastes different, you'll know better what you like generally for flavors and need for nicotine.

You'll need manual batteries if you want to refill, because no matter how careful you are juice will leak into the battery. Autos have open batteries while manuals have sealed ones. Autos are better for quitting though since they seem more like real cigs.

Please let us KR808d1 users know how the Diamond Series differs from the regular autos. They are supposed to not need a primer puff like the Bloogs. I am so tempted to order one.

Happy vaping and while you wait sign up on every juice vendor site that you think you might like and watch for sales.

My suggestions 1)Backwoodsbrew 2)Vaperite 3)Gourmet Vapor

Also stop using cartos when they taste dry before they burn and save them. You can refill or wash and refill when you get some juice. It saves lots of money. Put the condoms back on so they don't dry out while waiting.

Hi GowsGirl! I have V4L set-up and am very happy. Their batteries hold up to a "pacifier" test, where I vape almost constantly (switching cartos to let them cool down a bit *wink*) Please consider ordering at least one more battery. Especially if you smoke cigis regularly. That way you can have one charging while vaping. I have four XL batts & two chargers. On a "normal day" I will only draw down one, then switch to another for the evening. One a "bad day" I'll draw down two or three and thank my lucky stars for the fourth. ECF is a wonderful resource. Hope you enjoy your Vaping Experience.

Bootsand- I cannot wait to try the butterscotch! I heard it was heaven :)

Dragline- How long does a carto last usually?

DocDave- Thank you :) Congratulations on your PV too! How is it?

jj- I will let you know how the Diamond is compared to the other I am getting..I just got it because it was pretty ;) So next time I should order manual in order to refill? I was under the impression that autos could do it too? Thank you for the site info..looking iinto that now!

Telynau- Great to hear! I heard their customer service is great?! Did you get the PCC? I was wondering how good that is?

Thank you for such warm welcomes and great info! Keep it coming :)

I add some juice when I think vapor seems reduced or I get any hint of bad/burnt taste.

Some V4L cartos have easier to remove softer caps and I have been using a regular dropper juice bottle to drip down the inner aides of the carto. I have the carto off the battery and I hold a tissue against the hole in the carto's threaded end. When i am done, if there is any juice on the tissue, I check again and if none then it seems ok. If any juice then I wipe/dry the threaded end well. Then regardless, I puff lightly through the threaded end to make sure the air channel is clear of juice.

There is also a way to use the carto condoms (the soft clear end-covers) to push juice in or even take juice out. Search Youtube for Taryn Spin and watch both videos (should be the first 2 matches). I plan to try this when I fill a blank.

Note - test cartos first or bring an extra spare when you go out. There are occasional duds (some of which can be fixed by carefully using something to lift the center circle of the threaded end of the carto a bit)

My fave juice vendors -
FreedomSmokeUSA (esp Desert Ship, a cig-like turkish blend; oRYental 4, a sweet caramelly vanilla tobacco which is mainly caramel)
Backwoods Brew (esp Casablana, a complex Turkish blend w/ some cocoa; and Vanilla Bean <- been vaping this in a V4L carto for 3 days)
Velvet Vapors (esp Vanilla Almond Tobacco, a sweet rich vanilla w/ a bit of almond and some TH; and Raspberry Ginger Ale)

And I don't know how long a carto fill lasts nor how long a carto lasts. I top them off before they are dry. And overall life varies. Since they are designed to be disposable they are not designed for longevity. And after 4-5 days even if one is still working well, it could start tasting bad (in which case you may be able to revive it by cleaning with a modified turkey baster and hot water - there are some Youtube videos). I imagine it also varies based on how much you vape. A chain vaper will probably kill one faster than a moderate vaper.
