They make fake 3000mah and 4000mah batteries that are really something like 1000mah. But if you know you're getting lower capacity batteries than advertised, they're not bad.... at least, I haven't had any issues with them, but I'm only on my third set. However, you may be right about them not being good for the Vamo, because I use them in a Vape-Pro, but as far as I know both devices have the exact same features in regards to power regulation. BTW, these have been lasting me about 1-2 days before a recharge is necessary... the 2200mah batteries last about 3-4 days. So, if you're willing to make the compromise, it's not like they're going to fail on you within a few hours like those little 510 disposable auto batteries do. However, DO go with better quality batteries if you can. The only reason I'm even running them is because I just want to find out if they at least work decently as 1000mah batteries.

If they work I wouldn't go buy more but I don't know I saw someone on facebook complaining that their batteries sucked

Users have reported problems using Trustfire protected batteries with their Vamos.
I would cancel the order if it's not too late.

If they dont work ill use em in my bike light i guess, that is using trustfires already, but ill need to order 2 more in that case. I looked and i think youre right though, those cells have a protected cut off so will probably just deny me when i try to hit them with a high drain coil. I only run about 6W tops so its really a toss up. I have a scope and id like to run some tests on the batteries, but i need to get my hands on a probe

You may be ok at 6W.
Speculation was that the boost circuit was causing problems with the TF's protection.

Some testing would be great to see.
I can say that I've run some TF 14500's with one of my AGA'T's using a 1.1 ohm coil in a mech mod.
I had no issues in that case.
