Yeesh! What a weekend. From vaping "H.E.Double Toothpicks," to vaping Heaven.

Friday: I had just checked the mailbox, not expecting anything in it until Monday. Last Tuesday we ordered 2 Provaris with all the fixings. 2 Vamos as back-ups, plus batteries for them as well. We got two tanks, drip tips, and 20 boxes of cartos from Big Daddy, More Vivi Novas and lots of heads just because we like them. Lot's more juices that we love to keep steeping.

Because the vaping Gods love either my husband or me, everything but the Provaris and juice got there on Friday, lol. I was happy. It was also 3 pm, the mail had come early for us and i was so happy. And then the unthinkable happened as I started getting ready for hubby's gig that night.

I couldnt charge the Vamo batteries as I had gotten our chargers from Provari and they were not here yet. I was using my little Ego when i noticed i was getting terrible hits. Hmmmm... Puff, puff, and it died. No worries, i had my big ego charging so I walked over and grabbed it, plugged my little one in, and then it happened. Horror of horrors.. nothing. Absolutely nothing... my charger had died and i had no batteries.

Oh. My. God.

I thought i heard a calm, reassuring, voice in my head telling not to panic, but people warned me about listening to voices ;) The voice told me to go ahead and try the Vamo batteries, but I was already in a full out panic and the voice was just annoying me, teasing me... I texted my hubby in a panic. I would have called 9-1-1 but i didnt think they would care that it was my first time in 35 years without nicotine.

With shaking hands, I got my tobacco out and rolled up an analog. I put the thing in my mouth, lit it, inhaled, terrified i would end up back on analogs.. and almost died! By the second drag, i was gagging. I ran for the bathroom and flushed that horrific thing. It took me a full five minutes to brush that taste off my tongue and out of my mouth.

Right about then i get a text from Hubby, "Smoking is NOT an option!!!"

I told him he better put Radar Love on his stereo and get his rear home. Two hours later he walked in the door with his hand/vape gear stretching out to me, as if i was a dying human gasping for my last breath... and it sure felt that way, LOL.

While I was sucking down nicotine as fast and hard as I could, hubby calmly picks up the Vamos, drops a battery in it, and it vaped like there was no tomorrow, LOL. Those batteries, without us charging them at all, worked for a full 24 hours. For both of us, lol.

Yesterday we went to our "local" vape store, only an hour and half away, and got a Trustfire charger. Then after a great day, we went home and loaded up our first carto-tanks. With relatively few mistakes and mess, we were vaping like pro's.

The Provari's will be here Monday but i have to say, the Vamos are very nice. And people were right, it didnt take 10 minutes to figure it out and get used to the settings.

Man, what a difference a day makes, lol.

I'm so glad hubby was able to come to your aid! You shouldn't have a problem with your Provari batteries either. When I got mines this week I popped in a battery...mind you I left work on my lunch break so that I could get home to get it. I was stalking USPS. Anyway popped in the battery & it was almost fully charged! Vaping Heaven! Isn't it crazy how disgusting cigarettes taste now! We used to actually light those things up time & time again!! Wow! I tried one a couple weeks in just to see how I felt about them. How do you say...YUCK!! I didn't even take a full drag! What made us ever love them ill never know! Anywho, Congrats to you & your husband! Sounds like you have a nice set up going & you're well on your way!!

Hi! I was watching your thread when your Provari came in and had to laugh. I stalk the mail man as well, lol. You got my fav color btw, lol. We just got the regular silver ones as the price tag for two of everything was getting big enough (or i would have gotten a purple one with the blue led screen).

Oh god I'm gonna have nightmares now about dying batteries. Especially since I have to go to the brick and mortar tomm to get another battery since I ruined one a few minutes ago lol. I won't be able to breathe easy until I have it! And also, my VAMO is still n the mail!

Awesome husband you have, and I'm so glad that analog was nasty to you, my heart sank when I first read that you lit one up!
