I’ve been vaping for more than 3 weeks. In my first week, I felt all the symptoms, a lot of coughing and tired.. after that, all went away! And I feel way better. I’m still in my normal weight and I am totally happy that I can smell better. The other day I had a cup of coffee and when asking my wife about it, it is the same coffee we always drink… this time, I perceived the aroma.

Not here.
I just recently switched over to vaping and my teeth are considerably whiter, but they were naturally extremely white when I was younger.

I definitely feel a whole lot better.

Having my sense of smell return is both a blessing and a curse. There are several odors I'd rather not be able sense.

Strangely, I'm also losing weight. I'd gained about 35 pounds over the last 3 years and it's falling off effortlessly.

My skin is clearing up and looking younger. Trading cigarettes for vaping has been like a fountain of youth, so far. Pretty amazing, isn't it?

Healthier hugs,
Lyn

here's my list of things that have changed since I started vaping:

1) Coughing fits gone
2) Can climb a flight of stairs and still breathe when Im at the top
3) Wife says I no longer wheeze while Im asleep
4) Wife also says my face looks different, though she cant be specific
5) Sex is better - yeah I went there
6) Breath doesnt stink of cigarettes
7) Clothes don't stink of cigarettes
8) Havent burned a hole in ANYTHING since I switched ( damned cherry was always flalling off with the new "fire safe" smokes
9) I can taste things again...this is both good and bad General Tsao's chicken is spicier than it used to be. Quite a surprise biting into that pepper! lol But chocolate ice cream is soooo much better now.
10) Headaches gone ( though I had some while I was vaping 36mg. Had to cut that back. )
11) No one has accidentally overturned my ashtray in the garage and left it for me to clean up ( Damn kids hehe )
12) After I cleaned out my car, no more ashes everywhere. No matter how careful you are they still end up everywhere.
13) I've lost 10 pounds!!!

the weight loss thing I couldnt wrap my head around but here's what I think ( theory )

a) Your body stores toxins it cant deal with in fat. Once we stop putting more toxins in, the body has time to deal with the old and starts to break down that fat and deal with them.

b) Now that my sense of taste is back, food tastes better. Now that SHOULD mean I eat more right? But I don't. I actually enjoy food rather than scarf it down just trying to get "full" So I eat less and feel more satisfied.

I'm sure there's more but thats my short list

Yes. I have noticed many changes, too. Of course other people have noticed my improved pallor... although I don't know if I looked yellow/gray or whatever before. I just look better now. Healthier. Thanks. I'll take it.

Oddly too, I began to lose some weight as well. Go figure. That was always a fear of quitting to begin with - packing on the pounds.

My lung capacity has improved dramatically since I started vaping. Food tastes better, too. I can't say enough about the benefits of giving up those stinkin' analogs.

I know what you mean about the "smell" of cigs sometimes giving you a twinge of nostalgia... "that smells good." But, after hanging out at the local casino for a few hours and being IN all of that smoke and walking out stinking of it - no way am I going back there.

I'm also dreaming more often!
