I am so glad that I found this forum. So much information my head is spinning.
I have been a smoker for 28 years and have tried everything to quit. I have recently been sick and could not shake the cough. I have been thinking of trying e-cig for a while and this week stopped into a store in town that sells them. I purchased what I think is called a 2go on this forum. It has a manual battery, atty and uses a drip system. This store uses VT juice and mixes the flavors inhouse.
I started with 10MG nic and peppermint flavor. Yesterday, my first full day of using it, I was e-cig stupid and found I needed a higher nic level. I had to stop back in the store for a lesson on proper use and purchased pettermint and spearmint juice with 14mg nic. Things are much better today and the vaping is cool.

I have tried everything to quit regular cigs. Patches, gum, Patches and gum together, medications. Nothing has worked long term.
I really like the idea of using an e-cig because it is so similar to smoking a regular cig. I also like that when I am out socializing and people step put to smoke I can join them and use the e-cig.

Only on day three but feeling really good about my decision to give them a go.:)

Welcome. that sounds alot like my story except I only smoked for 15 years, pack a day. It has been almost 3 months and I can't see going back to ciggies. This forum is very helpful in answering any question that you have. I do most all of my purchases on line because the prices are lower than B&M shops. I'm trying to kick the habbit and save money in the process. It does become kind of a hobby for alot of folks and I dont know if I have saved much cash but I feel better vaping.

Hi and congratulations ex-smoker! Time will fly by! After 40 years of smoking, I can't believe I've been tobacco-free for almost 4 months without even trying. The only downside is I'm now addicted to visiting the websites of every vendor on the planet looking for the perfect juice!

Pretty much my story as well...except I've branched out to juice vendors on several other planets.
