Hi guys-

Just received my manual kit today!! I ordered this a week ago and I live on the far west coast of Canada - I am shocked and impressed by how quickly it got here!!

While I didn't get the led colors I wanted, I am happy with the way it was handled (thanks for the note on my invoice V4L) and have a feeling I am going to like the chrome batt with orange led - less questions to answer when I am out clubbing or at the bar!!

Also, thanks for the freebie carts thrown in :) - various flavors so I can see what I like and various strengths too. Perfect for a newbie - I really appreciate it guys!!

I do have a couple questions that maybe someone can answer:

1. I received a USB charger, but when I look into it, there seems to be a metal .... plug in there and looking at my battery, it is sealed so I can't figure out how the battery will go in. I obviously don't wanna jam it in but just attempting softly so to speak I can tell it won't go in. Is there a diff USB charger for automatic batts vs. manual ones? I could see an automatic working with this as it has the hole in the battery...let me know if I am way off or doing something wrong.

2. Also, I plugged my batteries in to charge them. The first batt, the led did not blink at all when plugged in and light on the charger is green. Does this mean it's fully charged? The 2nd battery, the light blinked twice and when I read the manual, it says it should blink 5 times when plugged in to the charger. Anyone with experience care to chime in?

Thanks again V4L - believe you me, I am SMILIN!

Regards,

ws

Since Max already got your other question answered I will give this one a shot. The post you are seeing is normal. The battery whether manual or auto will screw into the socket and the point on that post will touch the battery to charge it.

thanks maxx and jeff. I have the one with a cord. So I guess for the one I have, I have to push the battery in until it touches rather than screw it in? And for the wall charger, I actually need to screw it in, correct?

Sorry for the dumb questions lol. Also, does the blue light indicate it's fully charged?

Thanks again!!

No, you will screw it in. Just put the battery in the same way you do on your wall charger. The have the same type of socket.

Thanks again. It's kind of odd - with the wall charger, the battery easily screws in right from the get go. With the usb charger, seems like there is like a rubber inside with no grooves - if I screw it in it goes nowhere, unless I push it in...

Probably just me lol

Hey Whozshort, welcome! No you're not nuts; some of the USB battery chargers are not threaded, you just push them in until seated. I usually twist and push down until it doesn't go any further. When the light turns red, it is charging; if it stays blue, it is not connecting to the battery; when you see it kind of blue / red green color, it is almost there, when blue again, it is fully charged. Hope this helps, have a blast!

One note of warning; don't vape too much into the late evening or you'll never get to sleep. When I first got mine in January, I couldn't put the damn thing down for a good week, it's really hard to stop. :)

thanks jamvector! I think I will give it another shot in a bit. I put the VK together and I seriously cannot put it down!!! I am being careful not to over vape and to give a good break between draws...

But let me tell you, I can already tell this unit has real promise - I'm getting great vapor (as much as I would want/need), awesome taste, and the chrome batt just looks so frikkin sick!!

I've had a couple instances so far where the led hasn't stayed on through my drag but I think it's cause I'm not holding down the button fully all the way through the drag (still getting used to manuals)...

I will try and cut myself off tonight but at this rate it's not looking good :p
