I had a shorty on charge all night and got it off this morning and it only lasted 30 minutes or less. It's a fairly new battery and I already sent 2 back for replacement. I am not sending another one back. I also ordered another diamond series ( it comes in a pouch) and they didn't send the pouch. . My girlfriend liked the diamond series I ordered and she loved the little pouch too so I ordered her one and it also came without the pouch. I called them and they said they would send them. They have such great customer service. Getting back to the battery topic, yes it says to charge 8 hours which I did, but I have this shorty that doesn't hold charge. I guess I'll take it out of rotation

I could be vaping extremely hard in the morning lol!!! I love the crakles sound too and all my battrries but 1 crackles. I can't express enough how happy I am with this company. They are great and so are their products. I got liquid by mistake once and they told me to keep it. She then told me how to use it because I had never tried juice. It's vanilla and I've been getting extra uses of my carts and vanilla goes with anything!! Well almost anything lol. So if you are not sure about ordering the juice, I would recommend that you do. It's adds life to your carts.

Hey Lmaiuri,

I just responded about a similar problem this morning so I am going to cut n paste it here in hopes it cures your problem.

This my reply from Sandy 68's Post.

Well it wouldn't shock me if you said you have regular auto batts. Try this, when the battery has charged, unscrew it a little from the recharger until the charge light turns red, the screw it back in and see if it goes back into charge mode (indicator light turns red again) and note how long it takes to go green again.

Now one of two things are going to happen, the charge indicator light will stay green OR the battery will go back into charge mode for an hour or two. When it's done charging for the 2nd time back it out and screw in again. If it takes a charge, keep repeating this process.

If you keep repeating this process, generally on the 3rd go around when you go to screw the battery back in, the charge light will stay green. Your battery will last the standard amount of time, although you will always have to go through this process to recharge it from now on.

So if this turns out to be the problem it's a logic problem with the battery circuit board. Contact Customer Service and let them know you will need a replacement.

Please let us know what happens......you'll be able to tell quickly!

As for the post adjustment if you have the post high enough to where it makes contact with the Carto Post and there is still a "little gap" as I mention in the video, then the post is high enough. Generally if you are able to draw on a battery, but receiving very little vapor it's a connection issue.

However, this can also occur when a battery has little to no charge. I have had a similar issue with regular auto batteries a couple of months ago with charging.

The video of how to raise your post is Stickied at the top of the page Fixing Cartomizers and Batteries Tutorial.

If you could let us know if either raising the post worked, or if you have logic problem with the circuit board that would be much appreciated.

well im not really sure how long it lasted because ive only vaped in 5-10 minute rounds, and i vaped around 7 sessions, which sounds like the batteries are doing what they are supposed to.

can leaving the battery charging overnight actually overcharge it and damage it or lessen its lifetime?

(i also posted in my other thread "my first day vaping with the v4l shorty vapor king auto and manual", so i didnt mean to double post but it seemed kinda relevant to lmauri's battery issue)

I leave mine on overnight all the time. No problems so far.

Thank you so much for your help. It worked. I adjusted the post and it's making contact. And u r right, I have 2 regular auto's. Im new on the forum and have very little time on be online. I don't know what I'm doing here most of the time, so sorry if I posted in the wrong place and thank you for helping me.
I just got my Diamond Series which I love!! The hole is bigger compared to the regular auto's battery. It draws easier than the regular auto's . I find them hard to draw on...but the Diamond Series....now that big hole does the trick. I love it. Thanks again!!
