Ugh I so don't want to. I LOVE my Ego-C. But I am going on a cruise in a month. As much as I dislike my Blu & love my Ego-C all I can think of is being questioned by airport & cruise security about this thing. Also the stares of fellow cruisers. Not to mention having to pack all my E-juices (homemade) & vaping supplies. I'm just thinking that my Blu may will still cause some questioning but not as much objection since it looks like a pack of cigarettes and easier to pack. Also thinking that the re-chargable case is definitely a plus as well.

Yuk, I hate the thought of dumping more money into my Blu for carts but I've bought empty 510 carts and filled and it's not the same. Seems like you can hear air when I inhale and I don't get the same "hit" and my favorite flavors don't taste nearly or even close to being the same. The moment I vaped from a tank I never wanted to go back. But with my Ego, I think about the issues of the occasional leak, changing tanks and so forth. I love my C but let's face it, truth be told there is some minimal maintenance involved.

Any thoughts suggestions would be appreciated.

Way back when I had a Blu I just blue foam modded the carts it came with (that little cup inside) and just re-filled them with my favorite juice. It was a nice little PV to carry around when I knew I wasn't going to need much and was worried about security confiscating my gear. You could always buy a couple 510 batteries and some carto's as well though.

I had to travel over the summer and had the same concerns about airport security. Instead of bringing my good rigs and risking their loss, I just packed a couple of boxmods, a Maxi Roughstack, a few bottles of juice, and some spare parts. No questions were asked about any of it at any time.

There's more info about this topic here Travel and E-Cig.

I've been on several cruises since I started vaping and flown through a number of airports. My juice bottles go in my 2 qt ziplock bag when flying and never once has anyone questioned what was in the bottles. I find it simpler to travel with all my PV's/attys/cartos in one case in my carry on luggage. Twice airport security has questioned what was in the case and very simply asked to open it and look. Upon being told they were my e-cigs on both occasions I was told they were familiar with seeing e-cigs but there were so many different kinds they were just checking. It really was no problem at all and in a matter of one minute I was finished going through security. Most often they havent even bothered to check. I've traveled with Joye 510's, Egos, and several of my mods that look nothing like a cigarette.

On my last cruise in November for the first time security asked to see what was in my carry on. Upon being told it was e-cigs and taking a look the gentleman asked if it would be ok if he showed them to the other security people so they could all be better educated on what different kinds looked like as they didnt run across them all that often and I had ones he'd never seen. It took all of 3 minutes because I did happily answer some questions abt vaping and I was more then happy to help educate. The experience was completely a good one :)

As far as people on the cruiseship I've always had fun educating others when a few do ask what I have. For the most part everyone pretty much ignors my PV's no matter which one I'm using at the moment. My egos havent gotten any more questions then my 510s that look more like cigarettes. My purple Buzz Pro has gotten a few more looks and smiles but honestly nothing but friendly questions and comments.
