I had an issue with the carrier, another vaper, keeping what was supposed to be delivered. I've been told that after the investigation, that the carrier no longer has a job with the USPS. When you catch the guy on camera at the local shop showing off what you ordered, it's pretty compelling evidence. The supplier was also able to go through their records and made a statement saying that I'm the only one she's shipped to in this part of the state, and that her flavors aren't available anywhere but online or from certain retailers that aren't in my state.

They've gone so down hill, I was suppose to receive my e liquid from vapetrik says delivered last Wednesday never showed up. the other juices said out for delivery for ever, I check the mail box the package is there. The site to track is garbage, and USPS is garbage. Unfortunately its cheaper for companies to use them over UPS or Fedex so they use it to save money. But in turn you get insanely slow or crap delivery, plus miss delivery. I'm going insane because I don't have really any juice left that I was suppose to have last week. Local vape shops here have crap.

I "knock on wood" have got all my packages on time & to my address except when the "sub" carrier is delivering my packages & if they won't fit in the box they usually put in my screen porch. This idiot leaves it OUTSIDE THE DOOR... Seriously, 2 seconds to open door, set package down & close door! There sits a USPS package in the grass waiting for a dishonest person to walk by... I don't know if it's stupidity or laziness? Probably both

Tiny is the key word ... I see people having to pay extra to receive packages soon.

never under estimate Postal Greed.

Basically the Postal services are footing the bill for cheap imported goods due to trade agreements. Nobody has a problem with free shipping from China in fact most of us have come to expect it. So the guy in China pays $.02 to mail a 3lb envelope from the other side of the planet. Obviously it costs more and someone has to make up the loss which the postal services need to recoup. If anyone is to blame for all the trouble with the postal services it's China. Either the losses incurred have to come from increased import duties, higher taxes or through extra delivery fees. The alternative being UPS, FedEx, DHL would all cost far more then we pay for a typical stamp. So imagine if you had to pay five or so bucks just to send a letter to someone.

I am probably a minority because I get exceptional service from the USPS.

I've actually never had a shipment from China. I had one from London and everything else has been from the continental U.S.. I do have a mod on the way from Hawaii now, we'll see how that works. We (U.S.) always seem to take it in the rear in trade agreements, but as long as some politician's niece or nephew gets a symbolic spot on a board somewhere and lines his/her pockets, I guess it's ok. :grr:

You just need to live in a really tiny town. When we moved here and found out that we didn't have street delivery we explained that we get magazines and frequent packages, and our free PO Box is huge. Of course the town is so small that they are only open for a few hours in the morning, but sometimes when we don't make it over for a couple of days the mail magically shows up on our porch.

I do live in a tiny town though. :( That's why they don't do home delivery for most people (or at least that's the stated reason). They only deliver to a couple streets in town, and I don't think the box numbers even go up to 300. Stuff husband and I order that doesn't fit in the tiny box goes on a shelf behind all the boxes until we have time to get to the PO when it's open (they have ridiculously short hours too, longer than yours though -- 6 hours a day, with a 2 hour 'lunch' break).

I must be an exception. I've had very good luck with all my deliveries, both vape-related and stuff I've bought off of ebay/amazon/etc.

I've only had two issues. On one of those, it was my fault. I typed in my address wrong, and the house number I gave them didn't exist. That got sorted out quickly, and I had to make a trip to the post office to get my delivery, but as I said, that was my fault.

The only other issue, a package once got dropped off two houses away. That happened on a Friday. Sunday night, the neighbor that got the package brought it to me saying "I was out of town, and found this on my doorstep when I got home".

So I've always gotten my stuff, and the only time I had to go to the post office was due to *my* mistake.

I bought and sold on ebay for years and do a ton of online shopping for vaping supplies. I have never had a single problem with my PO. We're talking thousands of transactions and shipments to and from my house. I know a lot of people in this thread have had problems, but I continue to believe that they are the minority. No one ever creates a thread about how they got their packages in good time for reasonable money. I am very grateful for the PO, I think that over all, they do an incredible job for a great price. As with any business, there are good and bad employees.

Blame China has become a blanket excuse for anyone that sucks at making money.

The post office, even with a government enforced monopoly on mail delivery service for most of it's history has never made great profits, and has had losses many of it's years.

IF anything, the thing that has caused their current financial situation is them having to put up money for retirement packages they offered without knowing if they'd have the money to pay them out when the time came. And even that was just a straw on the camel's back, it wasn't a load of bricks.

That's exactly the problem, and for that, we can thank our brilliant (NOT!) congress.
