So I have done single coils and parallel coils, but never a dual coil and I am wondering what gives the best results?
Not looking for clouds I'm a flavour chaser and my home set up is around 4V - 30V 100W so don't want to be building much below 1 ohm because I just won't be able to go very low if needed.
Any suggestions on what sort of build works best? Got a few hours to burn so thought I might throw a few together and see what is best but any input would be appreciated.

What are you putting them in? And what is that going on?

Parallel coils = half the ohms of 1 of the coils. If you make two 1.5 ohm coils, you get .75 ohms. If you make two 1.1 ohm coils, you get .55 ohms. Two 1 ohm coils = .5 ohms etc etc.

So, if your device won't let you go below 1 ohm --I'm really unclear about that because you said you have a 100w device but also said "so don't want to be building much below 1 ohm because I just won't be able to go very low if needed"

I run a pair of 1.1 ohm coils in my dual coil rebuildable. I wick with KGD.

dual vertical coils have produced some of the best flavor/vapor production i have experienced .i'm not a fan of hot vapes by the way.

Cheers tried that and the flavour is awesome, sitting at 1 ohm running around 80W and a happy chap. Not got it 100% as it's a bit slow to heat but can definately see this being a go to build when I get it spot on so thanks.
