So since all of you are so helpful I already know that VG= more vapor and PG= more TH. Now I am wondering if VG produces more vapor wouldn't that also mean a better TH? I have not yet had a juice that was 100% VG since USPS is slow with my delivery but I was wondering do you still get a TH or feel anything in your throat with a all 100% VG juice?

Last but not least is there a difference taste, smell, TH wise between a 100% VG and a 100% organic VG?

Would be great to know and wish everyone a good evening.

Actually... PG creates more throat hit. It has to do with the way the molecules expand when heated. Something about the way a "molecular ring" expands. I'm not being concise, and I'm sorry for that, it's information from a while back.

I cannot answer the second with authority, however, the "organic" status has to do with how the VG was produced, not it's chemical makeup. So in theory at least, both products would be chemically identical- thus taste the same.

However, the impurities may be different based on production method. I cannot state whether they exist at a high enough level to change taste. My guess would be "no".

Just a guess, but I would be very surprised if there was. Glycerin is glycerin, whether it comes from organically grown plants or not. If it's USP glycerin, then it must contain no more than 1% impurities, and what those impurities may be is tightly regulated. There is no meaningful chemical difference between organic and non-organic.

you educated yourself pretty good. To make this post a question how do you see the risk for internet security with a gov shutdown? I honestly did not know that the gov has any hands over internet security but that is what CNN is saying. So in other words is my money save? are my emails save? is anything save if it comes down to a gov shutdown?

The government doesn't ensure your the safety of what you do on the internet anyway, so you will be at no greater risk than you have been so far.

Just another comment on Organic Glycerin----read some earlier posts and it was strongly suggested to only use USP Grade -- and some (perhaps most/all) in Health Food Stores are not USP. Cozzicon's answer pretty much sums it up.

It could be overkill to try and go organic on these base products that with USP grading are pretty darn pure. Sort like organic distilled water?

Flavorings -- that's a different story. Some of the naturals I've had have been noticably different.

There's absolutely no point in organic VG. Most of the under 1% of "impurities" in USP VG is usually water. There's something like .0001% "ash" and small amounts of different "classes" of solvents. The solvents may vary from the production method from company to company but they are really so small I wouldn't worry about it at all.

It seems hard to find non-USP VG/PG. Some just won't be labeled for food use to cut costs but still be as pure (legal stupidity involved there).

Agreed. I think people are way less cautious than they should be about flavoring. I will not vape anything made in China or containing diacetyl/Lorann's/other brands.
