Hello everyone this is my first post i have been looking through the forum for a day or so now trying to find some info on the yeti 510 over at Altsmoke.com with no luck..... im just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this i was thinking of purchasing this kit as my first "real" e-cig and also wondering how many MAH the batteries are that come with the kit cause i read somewhere on the forum that every 100MAH is basically equal to one hour of the battery life before it will need a charge ...

also if anyone has any recommendations on a better 510 kit for around the same price or cheaper i would highly appreciate that info as well .... Thanks :vapor:

Hey Ferris, Altsmoke is down in New Philadelphia so they aren't too far away from you. They have a storefront and vape lounge too. It may be worth a day trip to check out what they've got. There's nothing like talking to an expert, handling the stuff, and trying out a few models before buying. Their address and phone # are on this page:

AltSmoke.com | Personal Vaporizers | Electronic Cigarette | Ecigs

For something a bit closer to home you've got Revolver in Toledo. Check out this thread starting around page 12:

All small 510's are 180mah as are all batteries the same size

The next step up is to a long slim battery
Joye 510 Mega xl - 280mah and about 128mm long with a cartomizer
And not 510 but a bit stronger: KR808D-1 standard aka 78mm battery for 120mm ecig (V4L, and standard manufacturer, plus another style SmokelessImage, Bloogplanet, Halocigs G6)

And I recommend manual batteries for all ecigs - harder to kill, easier to get a good hit

The next step up after that is to fat battery 510-threaded models like Ego and Riva 510: 650mah and up
And mods with 510 threading - also about 650mah and up

Eww 1 hour that's not even close to lasting long enough lol

hahaha thats definitely the truth ..... i work on the railroad and go out of town i would definitely need something that lasts more than an hour im just trying to stay close to something about the same size as a "real cigarette" for the time being.

I had the Yeti and disliked it a lot. If you want to go slim style, an 808 is the way to go IMHO. V4L, Volt, Bloog etc.

can i ask what you disliked about it .... and i was reading the differences between the 808 and 510 i think the 510 would be the perfect starter for me..... but thats why im trying to get some opinions and info...

This applies for slim style only! For slim style the 2 piece PVs from V4l, Bloog, and the Volt are just easier to use, have a far more consistent vape and you have plenty of choices in prefilled cartos. Prefilled 510 cartos are gross, and you can just as easily refill an 808 as you can fill a SR Boge carto for a 510. And the attie + cart style if you went that way on a slim 510 just sucks.

For big battery mods, 510 is the way to go though, that is why I say for slim only that 808 to me is far superior. I still have my Yeti C (that is the auto not the manual) I keep it as a backup to backup to a backup, or just to pull drip tips off of 306 atties. So I am not really knocking the Yeti, I am saying for slim 808 is far greater than 510
