yeti/joye510 atomizer funny taste

hello all
well after a week of vaping between the dse901 and the yeti I have to say I'm impressed with the e cig.

Today I noticed a funny taste with my yeti atomizer --not the low cartridge tatse but more of a funky burnt taste. I'm asking myself if this is my imagination or a real funny taste. The atomizer works great and the little coil seems silver and not crazy black or anything like that.

anyway I'm hesitatant to attempt to clean it since it does work and I'm hoping that whatever is making it funky will burn off and be a non issue tomorrow ( yeah right lol ). I have a couple xtra yeti atomizers but would like to milk each one as far as I can.

does it need to be cleaned? should I just deal with it and hope it fixes it self? I see all the mad scientist recipes for cleaning and clueless about which one to use.

any advice appreciated. I'm in North Carolina and like that this is a multi - national forum. Hello to all world citizens.

Make sure the cartridge filler is making contact with the atomizer bridge. If it's been pushed down too low, it might not be wicking correctly, thus producing a burnt flavor.
