Yikes!! 18 mg. is too strong! What should I do?

(Just kidding...)Sandy, I'm a little more concerned about you relating that you felt like you got the shakes on 18 mg. The throat irritation may be a separate issue, and that will get sorted out too. But for the sake of finding what nic level you need I would definitely mix what you have in a bottle, and keep notes! This won't be an exact science - you can count drops of each liquid or just eyeball it. But you need to know, and a couple days after you mix it, you won't. "What did I put in there three days ago?" Know what I mean?
Another approach is to just start at the bottom of what you now have and work your way up. Try just the 4mg stuff for half a day. Is that working for you? Or are you having lotto "wanna cigarette" cravings? Move up to 8mg and try again.
And don't forget: STOP! Yes, that is an option. If you feel you are in "trouble" with too much nicotine put down the PV, don't touch the cigarettes, and just stop all of it for a good 30 minutes. See what happens. Do the shakes go away? Do you feel better? Give yourself the option to put it all down and listen to your body for a short while during your sorting out phase.
Best of luck. This sorting out phase is the hardest part for some new vapers. It was for me. But I did get it sorted.

I tried the V4L 11 mg. Nuport by Wow, and that seems weak!!!
I think maybe the Dekang 18 mg. menthol may be way more than twice as strong as the 11 mg. Wow Nuport.
If I use an atomizer and a drip tip so I don't waste my cartomizers, how do I do that? Do I just drip a few drops right on the atomizer??

Since one menthol seems too strong and the other too weak... try mixing the weak one with drops of the strong one (drop by drop keeping track of how many in another bottle). If you do this slowly you can find your perfect level of flavor... and nic.
I like a really light minty taste personally and use VG and a tiny bit of Minthol. Everyones taste is different.
I LOVE dripping with an atty!
