Ok, getting a little overwhelmed here. I just recently started dental assisting school and currently have one instructor that is highly allergic to cigarette smoke and I know that when it is time for us to do our clinicals that the odor would be a big draw back as well. Thus the interest in trying ecigs. Over the last few days, I have looked at soooooooooo many sites and soooooooo much information I am totally lost and really want to scream. We have order a couple of trial versions (Prada and directecig.com) and needless to say we will look at the fine print when they arrive!! If it looks like extra charges will come they will get shipped right back....without me even trying them. I currently smoke Misty Silver and Capri Jade (yeah, two brands...one is cheaper than the other and there is a size difference as well). I am concerned, though, that the lower cost "free trial" versions will not perform as well as some of the regular models and that will turn me off of it completely. I am lost as to the battery/atomizer ratio. I know that they effect vapor production. I do want a good easy pull with the solid feeling of the smoke (vapor) hitting my throat. Cartridges are a complete loss to me and what is with this "e-juice". Do I have to mix this myself or can I buy it premixed. On the hardware side of the models, what model parts interchange with other model/brands parts? Now you can see my confusion. I am hoping and praying that there will be somebody here who can help me out with getting all of this straight without them having their bottom line (profits) in mind. Thanks

I would suggest taking a look at the ECF library "Wonderfull World Of Vaping" Thread. It is very informative, and will explain almost all your questions. As for model recomendation, My favorite is the SmokeStik for a cigarette sized e-cig. Very easy draw, and the most cigarette like PV I have ever used. And yes, you can buy premixed e-juice from nearly all the suppliers. It is the DIY juice components that are most rare. Here is the ECF SmokeStik page if you are interested after doing some research(which I highly recomend): SmokeStik ::: Alternative Smoking

You can get e liquid at so many places that advertise on this site. Just mention what flavors you prefer, and you will get many suggestions. My experience with the cigarette sized e cigs was short battery life. I felt I was always charging batteries, that last only 2 hours max. My ego lasts 6-7 hours on one charge, and it came with a second battery for about $60 usd. However, if you need to be stealthy about vaping, the cigarette looking e-cigs work very well generating vapor. The 510 I have was made by Vapor King, and gets good reviews here, but upgraded to the ego shortly after. the 510 is great to have as a spare for those stealthy vaping needs. Good luck.

I send all my noob friends to Vicki at Cignot.com first... she is legendary for customer service AND shipping speed, she only sells genuine Joye products, and her stuff is all 510... one of the most common and best liked model series on the market. You can get a basic starter 510 kit from her for $35; add some pre-mixed juice in different flavors and maybe an extra battery to bring your order up to $60, and shipping is free. The 510's only drawback is battery life, but the PCC takes care of that (I started with the $65 PCC kit from cignot). A 510 is small enough that it's easy to palm it to hide the LED and "stealth vape", but still produces really satisfying vapor. You'll find all of the individual product cignot sells at slightly lower prices elsewhere... but you'd have to hit 4 vendors and pay shipping. Cignot is a great "one-stop-shop" for newbies, where you won't get ripped off either on price or quality.

A real Yikes there. Pretty pricey. I was hoping for something a little more slender and a little more sleek looking. Don't know for sure, though. Guess I will keep hunting. :)

They are pricey, but they also work better than any auto e-cig I've used(xhaleo2, smokereliefnow, Joye 510, KR8). As far as slender, anything more slender than the Hendu would offer almost no function. The RN4081 model is the smallest mini that still functions, IMHO. You could get a kit at 7-11 for $20 called an xhaleo2. It is similar to a 40x model. Just a bit smaller than the hendu. At least then you can try it out on the cheap. For a size comparison, here is a picture of my eGo mega above the SmokeStik PitBull beta test. The pitbull is about the same size as a Joye 510, but more slender and has 250mAh batt instead of 18mAh of the 510.
