The names Nanobots.

Just picked up a cig2o today after not nearly enough research, but a decent motivation to kick analogs while still maintaining my GPA-boosting nicotine habit. Day 1, so far so good. I keep smelling myself, surprised I don't smell like cigarette smoke. Anyways, thought I'd jump in and pay my respects. I'll be lurking around, posting here and there. Forums are the ultimate source of information in the modern world.

Welcome!! Looked it up (Cig2o.com PREMIUM CIGARETTE ALTERNATIVES: Water Vapor Cigarettes) and it uses cartomizers. A little on the pricey side but not bad for little research. Have not used cartos yet but you should be able to refill them with ejuice if you want. What you have may be able to use a kr808d-1 or kr808d-2 parts which you can find cheaper at other vendors but can not tell for sure, maybe someone else will know. If you have any questions just post.

Yeah, I'm 99% sure this is a KR808 - there are a few suppliers here which supply blank (refillable) cartos for these pretty cheap.

That's good to hear. As I said, I didn't do a whole lot (see: any) research before picking my cig2o up today. Just smoked a ton of analogs this weekend, needed a change, and bought the only ecig I could find nearby. As usual, haste = spending more money, but so far I'm liking it. If it can keep me off buying a couple packs a week I'm all for it. Day one is a success. We'll see if it holds up.

The blank cartomizers are something I'll definitely look into if this all pans out. Got 6 of the regular cartoms to make my evaluations on for now.

Also, love not smelling like cigarette smoke. I forgot what that's like.

Welcome!

I don't think it was that bad of a choice. I started out on a KR808 (V2Cigs) and I still use it occasionally, when I don't feel like messing with juice/dripping (mainly when I go out). You can also buy an adapter for your KR808 battery that allows you to put a 510 atomizer on it. I've used mine with an atty and a drip-tip. It isn't the most ideal setup, but it works.

Yeah, not smelling like smoke is awesome. You're going to notice how everyone else who smokes smells, now. I can smell 'em a mile away.

So does anyone remember when they started up their ecig campaign? I feel like I can't put the damn thing down... I was smoking about ~8-10 cigs a day as recently as this weekend. Maybe it's still in the 'novelty' phase? Also, anyone got some insight as to how long I can expect my cig2o's cartomizers to last? The dude at the store equated to them to a carton, which i knew was a load of ...., but figured i'd get some distance on them anyways. Seems like the one I just popped in is already changing in texture of pull/amount of vapor. Don't really know if these are symptoms of being half full, empty, just below full etc.... justa newb looking fer tips ;-)

Bwwahahaha!! Novelty phase! Sugar, I hate to break it to ya, but the novelty phase doesn't end. ;) The joy of being able to enjoy the act of smoking and still get the nicotine is something that I don't think any long-term smoker will ever cease being amazed by. And this isn't just a habit...it's a hobby. :)

As far as the carto's and how long they last...it all depends. My first carto lasted me a day and a half (and I was a pack-a-day smoker), but I was a little leery because the last e-cigs I tried a year ago were horrible (nasty Chinese juice) and made me ill just smelling them. I would say that a carto will last you a day, unless you start chainvaping. In that case, 2 or 3.

Your battery charge could also be determining the amount of vapor. Sometimes the KR808 models' vapor production wanes as it loses power. You'll know when it's empty. It tastes like a**.

Day 2: still going well. Vaping a lot, still getting used to the new texture of taking a drag. Been jonesin fer a ciggy, but nothing I can't vape. I think it's more that I wanna compare side by side than I'm craving some burning paper. I'ma try n' stick it out a few more days before I have an analog, but the weekend is coming up fast. Real pumped that I won't smell like smoke tomorrow at the career fair I got lined up.
