I smoked 2 packs a day for 45+ years. I don't drip myself. I get good hits on my 4081 as is. Here's the scoop on the juice;

Since all levels of nicotine in juice are the same price, it pays to get the highest and cut it to your desired level. You get more for less money.

I getting a good hit from 18mg juice. I buy 36mg. and cut it in half.

So, I'm going to assume you'll ask me next about cutting it, so here goes.

I cut my 36mg - 50 / 50 with VG. VG is fairly thick, and will have a sweet taste.

VG = Vegetable Glycerin;
You can buy VG at any CVS Pharmacy or Walmart, in the pharmacy section. You'll find it in the skin care section, usually near the bottom shelf. CVS and Walmart each have their own store brand. The bottles will say Pure Glycerin USP. The USP means food grade. I wouldn't use anything that does not have USP on it. 4 or 5 bucks for a good size bottle.

I bought a syringe from CVS too. (No needle on it.) I use it to measure the juice so I can get a good 50 / 50 mixture.

You may try different mixture %'s. I recommend you mix in a very small amount and try it before you mix a full bottle. I ended up throwing away a 30ml bottle because I messed it up.

Good luck;
jd

Along with Jim's suggestion, another option is to get the flavor you like in 36mg and a lower level such as 11mg. Mix the two and you get 24 mg (which is what I use) and this way you don't reduce the flavor of the liquid as you will cutting with VG.

That's my main concern here. You get happy with what you have, and then you do the research, and advance upward as you see fit.

The VG will add the vapor.
Now, you can also go to Tractor Supply, and buy PG. PG = Propylene Glycol. PG is another great vapor producer. It's much thinner than the VG, and a minority of people have an allergy to it.

I prefer the VG myself. I'm fond of the taste of the unflavored juice with 50% PG. You'll have to experiment, and see what's best for you.

Great, thanks. What about a liquid that produces heavy smoke? (or is that based on the type of e-cg?) I'm new to this and have the smoke everywhere gold. I dont want to spend more monet for a new e-cig YET, I need to try this out for a bit, first. Just trying to give it it's fair shake prior to upgrading etc.

If you add some VG to Just about any e-liquid you will get lots of vapor with the SE Gold.

So I received my SE gold just a few days ago and must say I'm very disappointed with it's out-of-box performance. I have yet to get a single decent hit from the thing with the cats that come with it. I obviously read through this entire thread and see that a combination of dripping, mixing VG or PG and e-liquid until you get vapor, and It seems popping the end cap off the stock carts has helped a lot of people as well. I have not yet ordered any e-liquid therefore I also have not dripped. And when I popped the end cap off my stock carts to try that method I noticed the reservoir was filled with liquid. I figured if I wiped the liquid away I would just be diminishing the life of the cart so I replaced the cap and gave up.

So these are my questions. First, what brand of e-liquid should I buy to get the best vapor (and also a decent throat hit) with my SE RN4081. Second, although I will eventually be dripping, I often will be at work or on the road and using carts for convenience. So should I pop the cap, wipe away whatever fluid is there and put it in my pocket?

Make sure you aren't tipping the e-cig up while you smoke it (it should be tipped either slightly down or held parallel to the ground- Eg; in a horizontal position). With the SE gold I have found you need to cover the two holes on the side and give the cig about a 1 second primer draw and then cover one of the holes with my thumb to get a decent amount of vapor.

Heaven-gifts is a good place to buy stuff from(Cheap prices, quick shipping, good customer service), they are in China though... and that means 8-15 days to get your stuff and customs might decide to hold your e-liquid. Shipping from China also can also run 12-25 bucks per shipment.

Look at the US Supplier thread for... well for Stateside suppliers.

Besides e-liquid you may want to pick up a DSE 103 Bat or another RN4081 bat... as I have found that most of the problems I had with my SE Gold go away with an NJoy or DSE 103 bat.

After some discussion and some products ordered, it has been determined that the Smoking Everywhere Gold e-cig that I have is an RN4081. While I don't get that much vapor and I have to draw hard, I do get a nice strong throat hit with the 555 tobacco flavor that came with it. I was surprised at this. I just tried my first 555 cart today and notice it. I had been smoking the Strawberry carts, and they don't really give a throat hit, but the tobacco flavor does - to the point where it makes me cough every few times. The more I read and learn the more I realize that the throat hit is more dependent on the e-liquid then the actual e-cig.

TRUE DAT. I have to agree. Also the SE is definately the 4081.

i went thru a bunch of models and found that the rn 4081 was hands down the best as far as vapor, throat hit and over all awesomeness :D

i started with the se gold from a mall kiosk and now have the super e-cig model from totally wicked. it is black with a blue tip. i havetn killed an atty yet and its been a few months. usign the camel 18mg from eastmall. i pry th eplastic piece off the end and it seems to hit better. i always drip,never stuff. 3 drops on the atty usually. loving this thing :cool:

Just got the Smoking Everywhere gold (the RN 4081 apparently) from a kiosk in massapequa LI, and the battery lasts 2 hours or so. Reading earlier in the thread, i noted the 'poorer' peejee batteries had the same serial mine does (909152 i believe). Still reading and learning about care and mainance of my vaper but while I have the hard pull issues many have mentioned, it's otherwise decent. My wife alas got a cheaper (relatively speaking) vape kit, a cheap analog-style box, and pink *wince* vaporizer, and it was doing nothing for her, so she's back to analogs. Know they've probably been mentioned, but anyone have suggested sites for the RN 4081 parts and accessories?

My problem with the SE Gold is 2 hour battery life and constant filling. It doesn't hold enough juice in those iddy biddy carts. I get lots of vapor for 10 or so puffs then - refill. Yes you do get throat hit but I had to move on. I still have it and use it occasionally to make sure it's working still but it is mainly an "emergency" backup.

I also hate that I paid over $100 bucks for this at a kiosk in a mall but it was my first venture into the e-cig world and got me started so I can't complain there. It was enough to keep me off analogs for about a month until I got tired of refilling. I then decided to upgrade to a bigger, more popular e-cig.

anycig.com cheap prices for accessories. Approx 20days for delivery only draw back is they don't carry the double sized carts, which I'm having problems finding in Canada

This is a really long thread and I'm a noob; i've read most and just thought I'd throw my 2 cents in and ask a question.

Like many of you, I got robbed at the mall for $135 for the SE Gold One (I chose the gold batter/cig end, vs. the one that looks like a real cig, because I'd like people to know right away that i'm not smoking a real cig... not trying to stand out). The vapor is pretty good, the battery life seems great, and the default cartidges are satisfying. BUT, I tried removing the end cap, and it worked, but offered very little difference for throughput/suction required, and I believe it is there to catch an excess drip, so I put mine back on.

Here's one interesting thing; I went down to a tobacco store near my house and they had the drops; another impulse buy. I paid $30 although it is a sizeable bottle but it s "No. 7" e-liquid (high, as are the cartidges that i got with it originally). Adding the drops does produce a better vapor, but this is strange; it actually stings the back of my throat. I've been smoking for 25 years and the only other time I felt something just like this is when I was a kid, and we had wrapped some dead leaves in some newspaper and smoked it.

So, I started taking smaller drags. My gut tells me that I should have gotten some other liquid. And I need more than one battery...

Where is a good place to get replacement batteries/parts for the 4081 (especially ones that look less like a cig; i.e. blue light at the end, odd colors, etc.)? And how about slim tips (this thing is a bit heavy)? And finally, what liquid and strength, in this e-cig, do you think would most likely duplicate a Marlboro Ultra Light 100?

Oh one other big question; does anybody know if the absorbtion rate of the vapor is equal to cig. smoke? In other words, why do i still feel more satisfied after smoking a real cig vs. this? If it's feeding my nicotine addiction, why do I feel like I need more? Is it just psychological?

Thanks guys for teaching us about this stuff; I'm gonna get all my family and friends into this.... I'm SO glad these were invented, cuz I have NO plans on stopping my habit... but replacing it with a twin.... sounds good...
