Hahaha, yes I've been too busy to misbehave!
Our daughter had a little preemie 4 weeks ago, and I've been visiting them alot...then having to make up for the work I didn't get done...so just not enough ECF fun time lately. Mom & baby are doing well now. The little peanut is almost 5 pounds now...still to tiny for me to offer to babysit.
I try to check in with all the word games daily, just so I feel like I've had some ME time!

Techno - I was about to post to Elpha, but then you posted! Congrats on the new grandbaby! Boy or girl?
Baby boy. It's our first "local" grandbaby. All the others are in Florida & Georgia.
This little guy decided to appear over a month early though - quite a surprise. He's pretty healthy though, and his Mama seems to have recovered well too.
We have another local grandbaby now due in January, so I've got to get out my crochet hooks again and put my grama hat on. Argg. I'm waaaay too young though...just so you know...
**I'd post a picture of the baby, but all the pics are in my cell phone, and until one of the kids comes over to help me I don't know how to get them out of the phone & onto my computer...

That's nice Techno. I'm glad that both your daughter and the baby are doing well. Just as a side note, one of my students called me last week. Her baby was due in September and was born last week! She (the baby) only weighed a little over a pound, but is already off oxygen and starting to eat.

I email my pics to myself on the home computer... don't know what phones you guys have mine is and IPhone, but if you have email/ internet capability on your phone you can send them to yourself...

I am so embarassed. I actually have a technological job, dealing with phones & computers and programming and all that stuff..And I know that my husband has TOLD me that I can email pictures from my Droid to my email address...and I just can't BEAR to ask him again to show me how to do it, cuz I feel like such an idiot and he ENJOYS my distress too much!
It's so much better to wait until my programmer son comes over, and he'll just do it for me...

Yes it would...by far I am sure...but then again, you would not have that genius son to take care of you in your Old age...

I just can't imagine anything better than a brand new grandbaby.
I like to look at them.
I like the smell of them.
I even like the fact that they cry sometimes.
Helps me remember where I put them.

I'm still shocked that my own babies are old enough to be having babies of their own. Where did the time go???

Best thing is....with the grands you can spoil them, and give um back! and let mom do the hard work. LOL
