I ordered a second Zephyrus and a Billow V2 from the Eciggity Memorial Day Sale. Both tanks work great, and they both chew through juice. I wish there was an easy way for them both to be single coil. That would make them both so much better!

PS. Some website is offering the Zephyrus at $20 shipped if you use a discount code. Can't remember the name of the site right now.

That shouldn't be too difficult. Just plug the airflow holes under one of the coils and use the other side. Just find something that fits snug, but not too tight. Maybe a small bolt with a nut in each hole you need to block off, or maybe a pencil eraser. I can't be sure yet, but my Zephyrus is supposed to be waiting in my mailbox and I should have it in my hands in about 30 minutes.

Just got mine opened up and washed with a little soapy water. My 3mm screwdriver fits tightly in the holes under the coils of the Zephyrus. A 1/8" rod is just slightly too big. I am glad something fit, because I don't have a micrometer to measure it with. The deck is 8mm or 5/32" thick. The holes are too close to put bolts through and put nuts on them though.

It is working very well. Right now, I am using this build. Coil wrapping | Steam Engine | free vaping calculators

It took me a couple of attempts to get my wick right, but I am using Silica Wick. The first attempt was too much in the juice channels and a little too loose in the coils. I ordered 3mm, but it is loose in the 2.4mm coil, so I think they sent the wrong wick, but the bag doesn't say the size. I was able to fluff it up like cotton though. I think I got it pretty nice. When I hit it, I immediately get bubbles, so it is wicking. If this works well, I will shell out the bucks for some Treated Nextel. Will I go back to cotton? I don't know yet, but I did get a dry hit on this and although it was bad, it was nothing like burning cotton.

After running a tank of juice through the silica wicks, I rewicked it with cotton and it is really performing well. The RBA in this tank is well thought out. My first build in it came out to .57 ohms and the vapor is nice and dense. Plenty of flavor. The airflow of the RBA is better than the stock coils. I'm impressed and this is my favorite tank now. The only cons I can find are the top fill holes could have been a little larger. An eyedropper works, but not well. I had to switch to a syringe to fill it. I also wish it was taller so it could hold more juice.

Since my original post, I have run into leaking a few times when I refill. It has happened whether the airflow is open or closed and it seems to be coming out the aireflow slits. Has anyone else seen this or figured out why? I have been refilling with a squeeze bottle versus a dropper and speculated maybe I'm filling to quickly for the air to escape through the second hole. I'm gonna fill slower next time just to see. Oh and yes it drinks juice but beats dripping and driving lol. Thoughts?

If anyone is actually reading my post, I figured out the leak when filling. It seems to have been my cotton. It had been in for a Lil over a week (I know) and was still hitting well without dry hits. However it was apparently allowing the juice into the airflow holes while filling. I rewicked and it filled perfectly. If anyone is reading this and has a similar issue try rewicking like in the video I posted. Hope this will help someone else. Vape on.

Just ordered one of these bad boys! Now my question... Has anyone tried throwing a low dual parallel build build in this like .2-.18ish? I'm not concerned about the fit or the airflow but can the juice channels support 80-90 watts? Any of you guys thoughts would be much appreciated. Seeing pics and vids of this makes me think I might have found an alternative to taking a tank to work lol.

Full disclosure the deck on this required nanoish size coils. I have a .24 build on it now and tend to hit it around 40 watts. I have cranked it up but the vapor production st 40 works for me and in my head at least helps the juice last a bit longer. I could see it working with dual parallel as that's how my lycan dripper is currently set up. That being said building dual parallel that small would likely be an issue for me. At one point I had the arctic tank and was able to return it to where I purchased it due to poor wicking at high watts. Since then I truly realized high wattage tanks are more hype than function. But once again it's just my opinion and I have a friend running a herakles at 80 watts all day and loves it. If I can get good production at 40 and my Batts last longer I'm Goin that route :)

Maseter1313, I think that it has enough airflow to support low ohm builds, but it might be hard to squeeze those coils inside. You still need room around the diameter of the coils for airflow and you need room at the ends of the coils to have enough wick to keep enough juice right there at the coil. The juice channels are large and will pull juice up pretty quick, but your main reserve of juice needs to be right at the coil.

Alright guys, received the Billow V2 in the mail yesterday. It's nice, but seems to be missing about half the airflow of the Zephyrus. The Billow V2 also has a bigger build deck and is easier to wick.

1 Day test
Billow V2 - 2 tankfuls
Zephyrus - 5 tankfuls

Conclusion: Zephyrus gives a better vape and is quicker to fill. Easily becomes a "go to" tank.

Enjoy!
Thanks for the comparison. I have a Billow v2 as well. I was thinking about getting another Billow since I like it so much, but now it seems I'll be trying the Zephyrus out.

When you fill the Zephyrus while using the RBA, you will want to use a syringe and get it filled and get the plug back in quickly. Then you will still find it a bit over saturated and you will need to vape it till you see a bubble or two. This will prevent leaks. There is no way to stop the flow of juice into the RBA while the plug is open. You can close the airflow ring, but if the chimney is still open it will flow. If one had a cork to fit the chimney and used that in conjunction with the closed airflow ring, then one could take all the time they needed. I have not worried about finding a plug for the chimney, as I can usually get it filled and closed back up in less than ten seconds.

I must say that I have come to hate that little fill plug though. If it has any e-liquid on it, I have a hard time holding on to it to remove it or put it back in place. I have even had it fall into the chimney and go all the way down into the RBA.

Thanks for the info, zephyrus v2 will hopefully have a better top fill but I think the other features of this rta make it a must buy even with the finicky grommet.
