I have to chime in too. I have not been having leaking issues, except with the old cotton That I previously posted. Is it how you have yours wicked? Also the edges are a bit sharp and should have been machined better. I have fumbled with the fill plug and wish maybe it was a full ring or the like to make handling it easier. As far as a syringe for filling, I use standard squeeze bottles and most droppers will not fit the holes. Overall I really love this tank, Yes it has flaws but find me one that doesn't. Anyway I digress.

I don't understand what you mean?

I use the RBA section, close the AFC take off the plug, fill her up like normal, close the plug open AFC, and I have never had a leaking issue or flooding or anything. It works the exact same every single time. Never once had an issue with filling it.
Just closing the airflow ring does nothing if the top of the chimney is still open to the air. If your wick is tight in the juice channels, you may never see a leak. I have had mine leak twice when filling, but my wick is pretty loose in the channels. If I fill it quick, it's not a problem.

Yes, I have the wick loose in the channels, because I tend to chain vape a lot. I took a diamond hone to mine and smoothed off those sharp edges. That made a huge difference. YouDe really needs to address that machine work issue. I will be looking forward to version 2.

Yep, it tends to leak after filling. The little grommet is easy to loose.

Now I am using a single coil 0.93 ohm build. It's nice like this. Not hot, no leaking. The lower resistance builds were chewing through batteries way too fast. After a twelve minute drive I would need to charge the battery as it would have dropped from 4.2 V to 3.8 Volts. Hopefully this new build can make it round trip to work and back on a single battery.

I just got mine in. The RBA section is amazing. I think the reason they went with small fill holes was to minimize leaking when filling. Unlike other tanks with top fill, the rba section on this one has huge wicking channels and airflow holes so it is easy to flood. I like to wick lightly too, it is fine when everything is sealed but I am going to need to find a plug for the chimney or wick it with a little more cotton.

The build I am using is running at 25watts, and my iStick 50w won't make it through the day. I will bring mine back to a build that will run around 18 watts. That should also increase my fuel mileage.

Can't see how you would lose the topfill grommet. It's bright red and not really a tiny piece. maybe filling it in a car or something...

The topfill works incredibly well for me.. even things that don't fit in the holes fill the tank fine because the second hole is so close and so large air has plenty of room to escape and let the juice in. I've had several different builds, each being re-wicked a few different times all with very loose wicking except the very first and the only time I've had any problems with leaking or flooding is when I didn't screw the rba section down tight enough one time and once when I didn't get enough wick in, was going for less is more ended up with less is not enough to reach the juice channels properly.

Ok I have to say that I am not having the major battery drain i keep seeing mentioned. Only thing I can figure is that I'm using a dual battery mod versus single. I'm using an ipv 3 and as I mentioned a .2 build at 40 watts. I have efest Batts that I use in it so they aren't the best. But I get 2 to 3 days out of them. I average 2 tanks a day sometimes 3. If you guys are killing Batts that quick it has to be that it's a single batt mod, or am I missing something else.

Mine came in yesterday and I am blown away! Tried a few low builds and i think I may have a winner as I'm 2 tanks in with no issues. Running dual 26g parallels around a 1.5mm pole with 5 wraps. Coming in right around .1! Fits like a glove and the wicking is keeping up with chain vaping.

I realize this is lower then most want to go and in my opinion this should only be done on a dual parallel box with good batts by someone with a good ohm meter but the performance and flavor I'm getting is unreal!!
