Whats your favorite vaporizer that resembles a real cigarette?

I got an m401 to start and I've had it a few months... I'll never look back at real cigarettes again.

However, now that I know I'm hooked on vaping, I'd like to get a higher quality model. the 401 has the look I want but its def. a cheaply made device and I'm betting there is something that blows it out of the water. I'm prob going to give my 401 to another smoker that wants to see if vaping can help her quit.

Perhaps something that uses a cartomizer? I have noticed many vapers extolling the virtues of that kind of setup...

4081. SmokeStik carries these, but not cheap. If you elect to go that route - refill the cartomizers. They can be be re-filled for less than 25 cents. Best wishes.

Most any model you can replace the atomizer/cartridge setup and use a cartomizer and make it a 2 piece model however.

The only issue here as far as best model is feel/size/weight. The size of any ecig = the size of the battery.

Less than one pack I'd say, nevertheless she is just like me, never more than 5 feet away from a USB port. I'm always charging.

The ego has alot longer battery life?

EGO is best for you. Buy one and give your mother what you have are my first 3 thoughts...

And EGO is essentially a fat battery 510. You can go 5-8 hours with the standard 650 MaH battery... What you have is an hour or so....

I haven't used any battery other than an eGo battery with the 510 cartos and attys including the CE2-4 so I don't know about a regular 510 battery life. I do second the suggestion for a carto over atty/cart. I do use the 510 regular atty and LR/High Voltage atty for dripping with a couple of PTs and my mod box. Good results.

The 4081 is a super vapor producing/flavor producing, analog looking PV. I've just started using a carto on it and it is a real improvement over the atty/cart as the carts hold so little juice. Cloud9 sells the 4081 as a CL_501 or 502; difference being 501 comes with atty/cart, 502 comes with cartos. I have also ordered a 4081 battery from VaporKings so they may have starter kits and other parts. Go with cartos for sure. When I take a break from my more "hearty" devices or want something smaller to carry or more discrete the 4081 fits the bill. I have a pink kit and pink batteries. I, also have a PCC so I can carry some cartos and an extra charged battery in my purse. Today I charged four 4081 batteries with the PCC. Actually I've got to check this PCC as I think it is for a 510 but it has rubber grip which makes it pretty universal for several of the mini ecigs.

My other experience is with an 801, pen style. It produces loads of vapor and the carts hold a lot of juice but you need several batteries because they don't last very long. I've just ordered some cartos for it.

Hope this helps.

You could try some E2 cartomizers on your M401. They are pretty good IMO, and they last a lot longer between refills than the M401 cartridges. They also make these cartomizers for other models as well, but as you have the batteries already why not give them a shot. You can buy them here - Electronic Cigarette - Cartomizers - C-E2 - 510/808D-1[901]/401

Jaynik-The ego is a great pv, I own four at the moment and love them. Just so you know-they look nothing like a cigarette.

Agreed. Many overlook the importance of the mental thingy. Smoking is at least 75% mental, in my view. Therefore performance of a PV is only part of the equation.

The best PV in the world is useless if not used.

Yes it is def a mental thing with me, in addition, I love to join all my friends who still smoke when they head out to the patio to have a cigarette. I like to just use my pv for a while and it takes a few minutes for people who don't know about it to realize I'm not using a real cigarette!

They always get wide eyed and have tons of questions once they realize and its a great way to start conversations and make friends. I feel like if my pv looked too conspicuous people whoud be turned off by the whole concept. As it is I convert people all the time :)

great advice ya'll keep it comin!

p.s what part of texas are you from, buss? Born and raised Austinite here

hmmmmmmmm-my favorite that looks like a cig is my SideSho......510 a close second, but the sidesho looks more like a cig.

SlideSho is a brand, not a model. I looked for it but had no pics to know what it is... I can put a Mercedes sticker on a Volkswagen - it is still a Volkswagen. I much prefer BMW over Mercedes..., just sayin...

I recently went back to skinny cig bat's and have been surprised how long a standard kr808d bat has been lasting me... I carry 2 with a pcc, and couple of E2 carts and im good for the day. I Normally only go through 2 full charges throughout the work day and have not had need for the pcc i carry it just incase. I deal with the public allot at work, and i just feel more confidant having a cig looking device.
