Walter is a nickname from high school (long story), and SCAN is a nickname from another forum I used to frequent (acronym for the name I used there). So I mashed 'em together. I think it gives people the impression I'm a guy sometimes though...

And now, it's the name of my favorite character from WOT... I had been growing disaffected with my old name for a couple years (unpleasant associations, and I use it in a lot of places) and finally pulled the trigger on changing it here.

I was always doodling and doing graffiti mostly on notebooks and backpacks in high school. Most of the time I used sharpies. Also being really into cars and a mechanic, my Nissan 240 had a 2.4l motor in it.
