I am a boat Cap and commercial diver in the Bahamas. I take people out island hopping, deep sea fishing, snorkeling, Scuba diving. Spearing fish and lobster to sale at restraints to grilling it up on the beach for my clients. If it is legal and it can be done on the water we do it.

Hi all

I am a Materials Manager for a mid sized OEM. We manufacture textile printing equipment (everything from a one color bench top manual printer all the way up to a 20 color, 22 station full automatic press that can print 1000 shirts an hour). We also manufacture hospital grade carts (ER crash carts, phlebotomy carts, suture carts, pediatric carts and medicine dispensing carts) and fasteners, clips, and clamps for the refrigeration industry.

In short, my department spends all the money for the company's two locations. I'm the cheap SOB in the corner office that can squeeze a quarter till the eagle poops. :)

I'm looking forward to my retirement job though...I want to be the guy that applies spray on tans for bikini models :D

Thanks,
Geo

You certainly can Frank! Better yet, you can be the Quality Assurance Manager... you can inspect the spray tan after its applied. You know, spray tans must be applied very evenly. If not, they have to be washed off and re-applied. This, as you may not know may require some light scrubbing, but I don't think you will mind.

:D - Happy to see someone else "gets" my wicked dry sense of humor :D

Kind of a modern day Mike Brady, I like that!

My job isn't nearly as exciting, nor does it pay as well monetarily as most lol, but I enjoy both my part time jobs. I am a cashier at a grocery store part time, and also a lunch lady at the local school part time as well. Definitely enjoy the lunch lady job the most though! Kids are so much more enjoyable (and easier to deal with) than some adults!

Wow I read the whole thread. I love how everybody is proud of their job no matter how big or small. Me?

Currently a starving, semi-professional utility musician and vocalist. I play mostly for charity and corporate functions. I also breed tropical South American fish and take in computer repairs to make ends meet when necessary. In my past lives, I was a crime victims advocate working with death penalty and large scam/fraud cases, owned a small computer repair/custom build business, a buyer for a large ticket broker aka scalper, a nanny, a phlebotomist, and an EMT.

Each job has taught me a little about life and I wouldnt trade any of them, but I absolutely love what I am doing now, even though it pays next to nothing.
