I am a Senior Accounting Specialist at Mt. Holyoke College. My benefits include tuition exchange for my children. My daughter is away at college, a freshman. My son is a junior in high school. If you have younger kids, go work at a college with tuition exchange, it's the best investment I've ever made.

Yep, I used to work at Johns Hopkins and that's one of the best perks ever!

I'm a retired Sales and Finance Manager for an Auto mall (Toyota, Mercedes, Nissan, Honda, Hyundai, Mazda and Used). Prior to that I was a Project Manager for new home builders for 15 yrs. Prior to that, I was the Administrator for the Department of Immunology and Molecular Biology at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.

I loved working at Hopkins, but I found that sales was my real "niche" and I could make a much better living at it.

Here, there, everywhere!
I'm a logger--a skidder operator that maneuvers a rubber-tired tree skidding machine down slopes that you couldn't walk up or down.
I hate admitting that when everyone else here appears to be a white-collar worker.
Oh, well--everybody has to get their 2x4's and toilet paper from somewhere.:)

I admire your work - that isn't something that just anyone can do that's for sure. I am sure you have to be licenses to do certain work and have safety training.

I work for a company that prints books. The main plant does mostly mass market paperbacks. My department does alot of college textbooks. We have college students every summer. One year I asked a girl if she would be back the following year. Her reply "No, I'll have a real job". It is factory work, but the pay and benefits are the highest in my area. And where in the he'll would these schools get their books if someone did not print them???

YIPEE!!! Home at last
Well by degree I am a Respiratory Care Practitioner.... I have worked almost everywhere in every type of hospital. I did flight for life whenI worked pediatrics. I have worked in small rural hospitals at night where I was pretty much on my own ..... I have worked in teaching facilities where I had to ....well..... teach. I have worked in small private hospitals (not my fav) where they were pretty sure I had no idea what I was doing. I am somewhat of a respiratory male diva (I do not know what you call a male diva) because I am good at what I do and I know it. My outcomes are great even though I am unorthodox in my practice style. With that being said my long term goal is to be a Wal-Mart greeter preferably at the Wal-Mart in Porter Tx. The pics I have seen from there are PRICELESS.
