Hi Kittypie,

The cartomizer is the most important part for us all-VG vapers, IMO. I use a carto-tank with a two-holed, 2 ohm cartomizer at 3.7 volts with great results and nice plumes of vapor and great flavor. Going higher than 4.2 volts scorches all-VG juices...at least to my taste it seems. Someone who is a more-frequent or "chain-vaper" may need a three-holed cartomizer in order to keep up with wicking requirements. It's also VERY important to make sure you saturate your new cartomizers well, prior to using. Take your time. It takes a bit longer due to the thickness of the juice. I've been known to add a few drops of distilled water to my mix on occasion for the very thick juices...

Also, I change cartomizers more often due to the thickness of the juice "gunking" then up, usually every three days, which is no big deal.

Hope this helps! :) Happy vaping,

Bri

lol yeah I dont think there is a specific anything for anything anymore because so many cartos are coming out left and right.
my friend and I are trying to get some RBA's in our stash like the Genesis atty, or Z-atty
I think that your own ceramic wicks, and stainless steel meshes create a huge difference in vapor smoke.
as far as liquids go, I think 60% of the clearomizers out there works excellent with virgin juices. the rest 40% leaks, etc. so for every two good devices, one is a bunk.

I think the only perfect way to use the liquids right is to spend a considerate amount of benjamins on equipment with the best variable voltage that's also sturdy, long lasting and comes with a good warranty. (you get what you pay for)
I'm not saying anything about anything, but there is one specific device that I have been eye-ing and saving my money for. (hehehe)

Then that only covers one half of the spectrum. Now we go towards what we're going to use to store our precious juices in, and everything from glass pyrex tanks, to stainless tips imported from greece, it's a huge business out there of which is the go to device,..
but for me, I settle for things that keep me out of smoking cigarettes because that's what we're here for anyways. is to help us not touch the cancer sticks as much as possible, and to some, we go great lengths to improve our methods of vaping by researching on which is the best. So far, by my experience, the more you spend, and the more knowledgeable you are about DIY RBA's (do-it-yourself rebuildable-atomizers), .. the better your experience will be.

Well said heinz....:)

OR...you could try a ProTank or EVOD. Both work well with 100%VG. Bottom coils warm the juice making it thinner and easy to wick.
Sorry Kitty but...IMO the Smoktech cartos work well with the thicker juices. The Boges frustrate the heck out of me. I think they're wrapped more tightly.

As of now..all I need is a couple of EVODs, my ProTank and some super shorty Smoktechs and I'm good. No more experimenting for me! YAY!:banana:

100% agree with LouP!!

Seems like most of us on the VV forum finally discovered the "best" in the same time frame after lots of previous trial and error. No need for anything else other than get the batteries you love, a few evods, ProTanks, replacement coils, and some smoktech cartos (single coil only - and I prefer the xl, they hold more juice!)

I'm glad you discovered that too LouP... I was wondering why no one else could discern the difference btwn the smoktech and the boge's. The boge's aren't nearly as good unless you're ok with seriously low voltage, and even then it's just not worth it when the smoktech cartos work so much better with the 100%vg. But... now we have the Kanger evods and Annette's juices taste so amazing in them we aren't gonna use the cartos much (if at all) anyway!!

Also... stick with Virgin Vapor 100% vg juices because they're the best and will never need to be diluted or changed in any way! I think anyone who has used VV juices will attest to the fact that the 100% vg is absolutely perfect the way they arrive in your mailbox. Outstanding!

I only use 100% VG VV juices in clearomizers and like others have noted, it is a very subjective experience. First, let me say that VV 100% VG juice is not thick at all, as it is thinned with distilled water (correct me please if I'm wrong). My view is that it is designed for optimum experience in top coil clearomizers like the CE4 replaceable, the Vivi Nova, the SplitFire and the Titan (Screw tank).

However, the best flavor is obtained from bottom coil clearomizers like the EVOD and ProTank. Because the juice is so thin to begin with, bottom coils may tend to leak a bit as the tank empties and the wicks get old or used up. I have found zero leaking in the top coils mentioned. I normally switch from top coils to bottom coils during the day as sometimes I prefer the warmer, thicker vapor of top coils and sometimes I go for taste on bottom coils.

Again, this is just what works for me and will certainly not be true for everyone.

I just started a month ago. I've ordered 100% VG juices from a few vendors - Virgin is on my short list for my next set of trials in a few weeks, once I finalize my list of flavors. Devices:

Vmod XL and Vmod 2.0: Work fine using atomizers in the 2.0-2.2 range, bridgeless. Seems to work well, haven't experienced any gunking up of the attys. Decent and user-friendly devices for on the go.

Provari 2.0: Used with atomizers @ 1.5, 2.0 and 2.5, Kanger Protank stock and with Tatroe SS tank replacement, and an iGo-L RBA built with coils @ 1.1, 1.3, 1.5, 1.7 and 1.9 ohms. All were excellent vapes with 100% VG liquids from HHV, VCV and Mom&Pop, with nicotine levels of 0mg, 6mg, 12mg and 18mg. Kanger Evods tend to spit a bit once the juice runs down to about 1/3rd full. The Protank does this when it is down to the last 3-4 drops, right before it needs a re-fill. EDIT: The Protank and Evod were with 2.0 and 2.5 coils, FYI.
