They said they will ship SOME of the orders today on a first come first served basis (i.e., they will ship them in order from first person to buy to last person to buy) so mine will more than likely ship today (My order was complete 2 minutes after the release (literally. Released @ 12:00EST and my order was complete @ 12:02 EST lol).
I'm thinking I was one of the first orders cause even the Launch Day package was still available and they sold at fast as .... cause there was only 50 available online.
Yup...got my order confirmation at 9:03. I'm usually the one that misses out on the cool stuff (I once had to wait about 6 months for a Weta Workshop statue that I got BF for Christmas - Ringwraith on Steed--needless to say it did not come with Santa!) so I'm super stoked about this!

I was going to but it's kind of a rip-off. You can buy everything in "the works" package separately (other than the wood base, that's not for sale separately) for around $400-$500
I just got the Carto Hybrid and a DX-650. The entire Z2 line will be available 24/7 in the near future. They didn't expect such a hig demand today and sold out in minutes but they have 250 more Z2 hybrids with them in florida and whatever they don't sell at VapeBash (or whatever the one they're at is called) will be put on the ElectroNicStix website next week.
Why? What's wrong with that? AW IMR batteries are Lithium Ion as well.
It's going in my iHybrid. Only AW IMR are gonna go into the Z2 mods cause that's what they recommend

It's actually kind of strange.. some say aw imr 18490 are li-ion and some say li-mn for the exact same battery.
Regardless, im experienced with lipo batteries which act similar to li-ion (will be damaged if drained too low and not recharged immediately, I.e., they get damaged if you store them with drained/low voltage.
I think as long as I use my brain there will be no problem using the li-ion 3100mah 18650 in my ihybrid. We shall see lol

It's not a bad battery, 6.2A rated amp draw and 9.3A trip protection. Won't be running SLR, but that battery should work well.

Ya that's what I thought. If it's safe for use in a mechanical flashlight (like stated on the Web page you linked to) it should be fine in a mech mod as long as I don't discharge it too low or store it discharged.
