I got my Gold zample box today. I'm actually pleasently surprised. These are all actually pretty solid liquids. Only one I'm not too fond of is Chalice Vapor's Knight. To me it's definitely not as described :/

Lol yeah dude. Idk how many zample boxes are sent out a month but I'm sure it's quite a bit. No way is someone going through each individual person and picking juices just for them. They have certain juices every month and they divide them among the subscribers. I'm sure there is little to no choosing according to your profile.

Oh, so they actually do send the same to everybody. So the flavor profile is pointless? Hmmmm.. :glare:

i think you are wrong on your statement. i just opened my December box and it looks completely different than what others are posting to this thread. this is my 4th month and i have gotten some pretty darn good juices so far. 20141219_165936.jpg

Hmm I'm thinking you probably got a different box. Like the month before or after. Zample boxes basically all have the same juices.

I just got my December box yesterday as well and got completely different juices than SmoKnoMoCigZ. I did get a couple of the same ones Circa and Paul got though. There's usually a few flavors that they send out to almost everyone for the month but not usually exactly the same.

Problems I have had with Zamplebox though are that I've got a couple different flavors on different occasions 2 months in a row. Also, at this time I would say that their flavor profiles are absolutely useless for anything other than getting more subscribers. Last month I got basically the same assortment of flavor types as the months before they reopened flavor profiles and this month for some reason they sent me 2 mint flavors, which I cannot stand, though I've always opted out of them. I sent them an email about the mint flavors and they told me they "don't consider mint as a menthol flavor" and that's why I got them  .

After this month, I'm going to be cancelling and probably switching to another subscription service after I do a bit of research. The Drip Club does look nice, hopefully they'll be opening up that $50 box on their website soon. It's actually $5 cheaper than Zamplebox after shipping for around the same amount of juice.

i don`t think so. i have been a subscriber for 4 months now and have been following this thread and other zamplebox threads and my box always varies from other people`s boxes. there may be 1 or 2 bottles that are the same as another subscribers boxes but never more than that. i have never gotten a duplicate of a juice i got before. i get some very good brands and flavors in every box. if i could change anything it would be to get more tobacco juices and a little less fruit flavors. this last box was 80 mls for under $30 shipped. pretty good deal if you ask me.

I decided to resubscribe to see what they would send me and after a couple months of DiY, I'd like to get some new flavor ideas.

These are listed from my favorite to least. All are 3mg, from their "drip box" even though some of them seem pretty high in pg.

Asteroid Vapors - Gravity. Almost a candied banana and peanut butter vape. This is really out of the normal for me as I hate banana, the fruit and the vape. Comparable to Peanut Buddah if you've tried that, more banana though.

Chalice - Grail. Chocolate and Raspberry, very candy like. Not overly sweet. I really like it.

MidGard Vapor - BeoWulf. Chocolate and carmel, little hints of tobacco. This is a good adv tank vape. If I had a higher nic, it would be in my lemo. Nothing a little diy can't help! :D

Clouds Over Seattle -- U-pick. Strawberry cream. Simple, not a strong strawberry (at least on my current setup, doesn't seem to be low ohm friendly).

Source Code - Purple Potion. The description is pomegranate and lychee. It's super perfumey. And nothing close tasting to lychee. I think Free State Vapor ruined that flavor for everyone else to me. Their's is just way too good. Maybe after a long steep.

Finally, and really terrible.

Chalice Vapor - Knight. It's supposed to be a butterscotch tobacco. Liked the idea. It's an exact replica of Red Sky E juice (I'm pretty sure that's the name). Which is supposed to taste like marlboro reds. Really it tastes like licking the bottom of an ashtray of a twenty year smoker who only used that one ashtray. The trash can awaits.

All of these were tested on a .3 Ohm Build -- Mutation X V2 on a HexOhm v2. Rewicked and dry burned after every juice. Voltage was adjusted to taste, but for the majority 4.0-4.5 volts.

I got a zamplebox and upon arrival all but 2 juices were broken. I called them and they said it was the postal services fault and they weren't gonna fix what was broken.
I am now with vapebox to see how it goes, plus you have the option to get hardware or mods in your box which zample box doesn't do.
That Gilligans island is super gross and tastes like Nyquil.

I had a broken 15ml bottle in my gold box and they shipped me a 30ml bottle to replace it.

I got my first order from Zample last week. I asked for no fruit or sweet flavors and I got quite a few outside of that. The two I've tried are one hit and one miss. I'm letting most of them rest in a dark closet for a week or two. Here's what I got:
Banzai Vapor: Bat Country (vaped two tanks and it's very nice 8/10)
Cyclops Vapor: Artemis
Keystone Vapor: Lazy English Tobacco + Neshaminy Creek (vaped a tank and it's decent but too sweet 5/10. It might be nice cut with flavorless.)
Nick's Blissful Brews: Swag
Vapertief: Cut Off

I'll give it another month before deciding whether to stay or move on to a service that follows flavor profiles more closely.

I'm not sure why they even have or advertise flavor profiles - it's actually kinda aggravating. I just went into the site to try and fill out the flavor profile and you can't even click on anything. I've gone thru my phone and my computer and it doesn't work. Also what bothers me a bit is my date is the 22nd and it doesn't ship out until at least 4-5 days after that. Oh and like 4 months ago they put this big post on Facebook of how the prices were going to go up so make sure you had everything all set - and "big changes" were coming. Umm nothing has happened. At the time I was unsubscribed so I made sure to resubscribe because I didn't want to have to pay more!

It's a fact though that not everyone get the same box every month. Some people do and some people get some of the same juices. I find that getting it at the end of the month my box is completely different than everyone else's. Sometimes I look forward to the "main" juices that other people get but I never get them which is so odd.

got my first box on the 24th and ive sampled them all and liked them all. im now going to let them breath for about a week to see if the flavor matures. loving the size of the glass 15ml bottles compared to the small 15ml plastics i already own. i got an estimated $80 worth of juice for $24.99. not bad.

hello vapachino. when you say breath do you mean top off for a week? when i get new juice(zamplebox or otherwise) i shake the cwap out of it and do a hour cap off and then sample it. if its not ready i let it sit a week or three:p . i would think some of the flavor would be lost if the cap was off for a week. JMO and YMMV.

Having back-pedaled through several pages of this thread I think a lot of y'all are figuring out why these services eventually fail. This isn't a new idea and has been done - and failed - many times before Zample showed up. It's a theoretical business model that has too many moving parts in order to keep both the Zample customers and the liquids suppliers happy. Customers want different nic levels, flavor profiles and PG/VG ratios. Suppliers are expected to deliver "all that" to Zample at discounted prices. In theory the suppliers are expecting to see order referrals coming from the Zample losses. In practice the suppliers pull out after a few months when those loss leaders handed over to Zample don't result in orders from Zample customers. Or not enough to justify the loss and trying to keep Zample happy every month while taking a loss doing it.

In theory these services always sound like the most neato idea evar! In the real world suppliers pull out, new suppliers are hard to get in line, selection dwindles, customers leave and the business dies. No matter how many times this idea is reinvented the business model always has the same problems.

My first box supposedly shipped, should get it this week. So we will see how it goes.

I completely understand Rickajho's position and the subject. As a business model it seems doomed to failure. Please dont think im banging on your post in any way. But im a consumer, getting a product i may have otherwise never known about, especially when it comes to e-juice. I can pay one time a month and perhaps find a vape i love. I just spent the same amount on one bottle of space jam (that i don't love so much!) So for me, its a win/win. I get to try flavors i would spend huge amounts of money, and time looking for on the internet, or use their service, cancelling anytime i wish, and have a broader knowledge of the vaping world without having to get a loan for all the shipping! Do i care if Zamplebox goes belly up? no. Are they giving me something for my money? Time will tell.
