Hi everyone! im slowly getting back here... stupid real life... I hope everyone is doing well.... i miss the old days....
Good morning...looks like it's going to rain here pretty soon....hopefully just a nice gentle rain to make the flowers grow..no high winds or nasty lightening.
So I stopped by the ZFO today and got some new toys 
First, I picked up the "Made In USA" tube mod in 18650, and a Zenesis 2 Mini Genny for my ZNA. This is my first Genesis atty and right off the bat I made a good 1.6 ohm build with the supplied 400 mesh and wire.
For my first try I must say that I like how the Genesis vapes, now I see what others mean when they say you can't beat the flavor...
Then, I also picked up some spare 510 top caps so I could "hybrid" my Kayfuns.
All in all, a good day on the vaping front...

Hi all. I hope your temps are better than ours. It will be 107 by mid next week--yuck.
OK, so after watching all the youtube sensation on the Russian 91 Kayfun clone, I decided to try something new since using my Zens for the last few years.
In short, I do not see the wonder! The thing has TINY screws, and the positive block rotates when you tighten the positive screw to the coil lead, and can short out against the negative block if you are not careful and rotate it back. It takes about 4 times longer to build than putting a new genesis wick and coil together. The juice has that nasty cartomizer taste, and the vapor production isn't any better than a 1 ohm genny setup. The vapor is harsh and the taste of my subtle home brew eliquid is overwhelmed by that yucky wicky taste.
I learned my lesson. Nothing vapes and tastes better than my zatty and Cinis devices. The vapor is cool, smooth, and nothing interferes with the flavor. The Zen devices are rock solid, and since I started hot-wrapping my 28-ga coils to the SS wick, I never get any shorts.
Am I crazy? I just don't see the greatness of the kayfun-type device.

Thanks for the note Tybin. I will keep an eye out for the blue tubes Currently on the estix website, I cannot even find a Zen 650 tube! I thought Zen bought this machine to automate production a year or two ago and was set to flood the net with devices?
