The shinier part is where the brass was under the body of the ZNA, I turned it a little for the pic. Trying to decide if i want to go the polishing route or let the patina build up.

But basically yes the tarnished part is from me not putting this thing down in two weeks since I got it! My other mods are like "... someone adopt me?"

Patina = time
Shine = effort
Who wants to work man! I usually shine the mixed stuff and let the all brass go.

Agreed, don't think there is anything user-serviceable in that situation, call Mike!

Never had anything like an auto-fire, only time it has fired when I don't want it to is when I have my finger or hand on the button.

On a side note, heard the Hana anodizing is pretty fragile, easy to scratch, and a lot of people are on waiting lists from preorders wih no real idea of how long it will be, really glad I stuck it out for a ZNA.

Also, I really wish someone made a regular 3-post rda with Z2 threading, the link is nice but I want the posts to all be the same size.

mine would auto fire the odd time before.. i just fixed it by taking the battery out, unscrewing the atomizer and putting the battery back in and screwing atty back on, worked perfect after that. nothing permanently wrong with it

the problem is that i dont trust in my pv anymore, it will fire randomly.

im vaping with it right now, after a while it autofires

All the old faces are showing up!

This old face is about 400 posts behind and catching up! Been a while. It's scary how fast time flies. Things have been a bit hectic and I haven't logged on in a while. I resigned at my old job of ten years and have started a new job. Between having to learn the differences in paperwork all over again, and doing the job itself, well sufficed to say, not much time to get here. But I'm here now! :)

I did not want to wait for a ZNA so I got the Altus (which I wanted anyway and the pieces will work with the ZNA). Hopefully the ZNA will be easily purchased by my birthday because that is what Im getting as my gift.

Well my Altus came and so far its unusable. (I think I'm getting brain damage from sucking on air trying to get it to work). The switch is not working. I tried electronicstix.com they said they can not help and that I have to call Zen. I'm sure they are busy with ZNA problems so they have not called me back. I posted on the family reunion information/help page and read and tried most everything except for sandpapering the post (holding of on that because it is gold coated). Anyway this is my first high-end PV, I was so excited to finally get it now I'm very disappointed. I'm ready to get in the car and go to Rochester. :)

Un-thread the switch and press it in. Does the screw top clear the plastic insulator? And is the screw tightened down? If the head does not clear the insulator you should have 1 or 2 spare washers. Take the screw out and add a washer. You could also put a magnetic spacer on the battery, just don't over tighten it. Does the button feel crunchy at all when you press it in?
