Zmax mini battery ??

I just bought a zmax mini. I already had some 18350 batteries but for some reason they do not fit. I have Efest high drain button tops. Do I need to get a different battery? Or am I missing something.... Thank you in advance

How do they not fit? too big around? too long? too short?
If too long are your efest's protected?
maximum supported battery length is 36mm on the mini

They are to fat. But I was able to make it fit. Just a bit snug is all.

Is it a Sigelei Zmax Mini, a smok Zmax Mini or a knock-off? There is no good reason for the battery to fit snug in the tube. At the worst it's a safety defect because a snug fit could block escape of hot gas if the battery ever vents. You should be able to slide the battery right out of the tube easily with no sticking.

Another possibility is counterfeit batteries. Maybe it's a rewrap having two layers of plastic shrink tubing.

I use Efest IMR 18350s in my Sigelei Zmax V3 telescopic sometimes and they fit fine.

Button or flat tops, the 18350 fits just fine in a Seglei zmax mini. But the smok has a slightly narrower diameter tube - they should fit snug but they should still fit.

I run 18350 efest in my smok zmax mini. They fit just fine.

It is a smoke zmax. I have a flat top that fits fine and 3 button tops that are a bit snug.

I have the sigelei zmax mini in the mail. Have a aw 18350 battery awaiting. Hoping all will be smooth sailing mating the two.
